- July 21st 2018 will be Little Joe Day in Temple, TX. Although we wish we could have been there in person, we still wanted to pay tribute to the King of the Brown Sound. Congrats to Little Joe, and ALL of the musicians over the past 50 plus years who have created the soundtrack to our chicano existence as the Latinaires & La Familia. This day also belongs to YOU!

You all keep it real. You're about the only Chicano band, along with DFW'S Latin Express, that still out there that has a REAL horn section. The horns it's what makes it real Chicano sound. Awesome job.

I like to think the band 45 doing a fantastic job playing fantastic music like it was back in the '60s and seventies Chicano style the Young generation like you are push ahead you got this old DJs playing just old music over and over like a broken record and that a shame Robert plant from led Zeppelin said it very clear remember us as we were and support the new band and he can't get better than that the old DJs on the radio keep playing the same old tejano music that's okay but Dr downfall of tejano music in Chicano music because they keep playing the same old music they should be ashamed himself we need the new talent out there Mom and dad Grandpa and Grandma we like your music but we the new generation we need all Chicano and tejano music too I know you got you listen to your music and we don't mind but you have to remember you were young back then we need new talent out there that we can listen to and dance so thank you the 45 band for bringing this beautiful talent music from them and don't work cowboy hats you're not from Mexico keep up the good work I always push your hair from Pontiac Michigan to homestead Florida I travel a lot and I spread the news keep it up and thank you very much for the great music you give us
