Sri Saketharaman is a leading young vocalist who has carved a niche for himself. He has performed all over the world and has won several awards. On the occasion of the 90th birth anniversary of his Guru, Sri Lalgudi Jayaraman, Saketharaman presents a lecture demonstration titled ‘Lalgudi Saga - celebrating the Lalgudi Bani’.

To Saketharaman, my son learned under Anuradha Sridhar (Srimathi Brahmanandam Mami's daughter) and so many of things you say were imparted so well by Anu. This is a fabulous lecture that corroborates so many things. As a parent, I was privy to so many beautiful stories about the arrangement of these melodies. You are a natural, gifted speaker using metaphors and imagery to captivate the lay person as well as a trained artiste. Kudos!
