Looks like enough room for a second tank on top. Also lots of space to work in. All the best with the maiden.

The plane looks good and true in the T-45 Goshawk colors - as it anyway looks more like the Goshawk than the Red Arrows T1 version. Red Arrows have rounded wingtips so the more squared wingtips would look out of place if the plane had the Red Arrows livery. Would it be a reasonable first jet - for an experienced RC flyer with a decent grip on plane aerodynamics and with scale warbirds experiences ?

I think it would be. The jet has a nice scale appearance and performs like a sport jet in the air. It’s got a great flight envelope and can handle slow speed without bad tendency. Link below is one of the flight footages I have of the Hawk if you haven’t seen it yet. Hope this helps you to decide on this model. Thanks for watching!

Hi Robin. Unfortunately Pete is no longer affiliated with Bananahobby. He hasn’t been for several years now. I am Warren, one of the team pilots for Bananahobby. Thanks for stopping by my channel. I hope you found the video useful and thanks for watching.

Can was too big to fit in the jet also it weighed 1lb more than the SW80. As it is the SW80 being 1lb lighter the jet is still tail heavy by 10oz. If I had gone with the P100rx like I planned I’d have to add even more weight to the nose to CG. Don’t get me wrong, my P100rx is a great turbine just didn’t want to deal with having to add even more lead to the nose to CG.
