Hello...from your website it shows that as an au pair I have to pay for my traveling fees but I thought that was the responsibility of the host family
In general, au pairs have to pay for their own travel expenses, visa costs and language course. some countries have special regulations and some families still want to contribute to the costs. However, this should be clearly communicated in advance!

Unfortunately, you have already exceeded the upper age limit for au pairs as defined in the European Agreement on the Au Pair Placement.
Please note that the au pair stay does not correspond to volunteer position or a job, but rather to a cultural and linguistic exchange programme for young persons. In this context, both au pairs and host families must meet a set of requirements which are predefined by the local governments of the relevant host countries. The age limits for au pairs form part of this set of rules.
