There has also been some news about their new Boston Studio who is making the Cyberpunk Sequel Project Orion, news about new game plus mode in Cyberpunk 2077, and future updates to Cyberpunk 2077. For April Fools they should cobble together a very rough map to the moon, but once you get there it blasts "I wanna stay at your house" at max volume then just put you against 50 Adam Smashers.

Phantom liberty DLC is a massive jump from the base game. It didn't feel balanced... not saying it's bad but it just felt different. I really love the DLC, there was so much going on.

When Cyberpunk 2077 was first released [more like rushed by investors] in 2020, it was more like glitch-ville, lol 😅.
CDPR [if you're seeing this], please give us New Game+, PC Mods to Consoles, and especially the Moon DLC [We could definitely use more Cyberpunk 2077 DLC].

All I'm really hoping for in the sequel is a Mass Effect style continuation between games. I want Orion to remember your choices in 2077 to keep continuity between your playthroughs. If V is in the sequel (and they're not the main character), I want them to follow the ending you chose while looking like your V did. V could either be King Shit, a nobody, a nomad, a corporate slave or even Johnny. I think the general similarities between endings are that Arasaka is moving out of the US, leaving the door open for Zetatech to fill in there shoes, most likely leading to another corporate war. However theres a lot of characters that could have died in each individual playthrough that would be awkward seeing alive in the sequel. For example, in the new Phantom Liberty ending, you never fight Adam Smasher. Unless Smasher doesn't die in the fight with V, he'll only be alive following that one ending. That'd be a cool thing to see in Orion. Even if you don't get to fight him, I think the details like that are what really brings cohesion and immersion to the game. I've had people say that this is too tall of an order for CDPR, but I don't think it is. Knowing what they do now and working on a much better engine, I don't think it's out of the question to get save file reading like that implemented. If Mass Effect 2 could do it back in 2010, I think Orion has no problem pulling it off

That sounds pretty sweet but you'd basically have to write two different games if one of the paths was that your V became Johnny, my guess is if they go that route they'll pick one of the endings as the "canon" ending and build from that
This game one hundred and ten percent does NOT need a NG+ mode. The fun in the game is the grind, the appreciation for newly acquired gear and patching out your build. Replayability is super high with this game, I'm just now finishing my fourth since January of 2023. Didn't start playing until 1.6 and have welcomed all the recent additions. I must say though, I miss clothes giving out armor (or any stat) bonuses.
As for moving to America for immersion, I had zero integration problems with these very minor deficiencies, the game felt overwhelmingly American with the constant advertisement, killings and corporate lawlessness like we have today. I welcome unfamiliar layouts because it feels like I'm stepping into the unknown when streets, buildings etc. have non traditional layouts. The city itself is layed out in a distinctly European way with the city corpo plaza being the center with streets radiating out and not a boring grid like most American city's. The game is PERFECT and most definitely my favorite of all time.
So, the game doesn't feel american-ish enough, and that's a problem, right? Jesus christ guys...

I love CP2077 because it is not American. More American = woke
I think did cyberpunk 2o 77 desperately needs a new game plus not just for replayability but for those new to the game the struggle to figure stuff out so that they're not just being punished by having to create a whole new character all over again and I do believe it would drastically increase the replayability and offer a different perspective to make the game more fun

A moon DLC would honestly be an amazing choice, sure they could keep introducing new content and pulling stuff out of their ass like GTA does and it wouldnt get too boring for a couple years (GTA did it for..what...20?💀) But on the moon, they could definetly continue the story of edgerunners, V, or maybe someone new. It would be very interesting

I would love to see a DLC "V" on the Moon but I don't want it be a "Starfield" copy cat..,.I hope the devs won't drop the bat with this idea....in my opinion I think a good DLC would be "V" made it the "Casino Satellite" & build from there.......

Bro if this is true i would be beyond happy , this game is crazy good and CD Red should really make more stories in Night city , i would pay gold for a second DLC, i have 600+ Hrs in cyberpunk and i plan to put even more hours. It is unique there are no other games that give me the feeling on being in a distopic city as this one. It is just too good to end.

If they intertwined the game and the edgerunners completely, I could have forgiven the rocky release entirely. It would have been the best of best.

@@DNye what I meant was deeper than that. Like if you could continue their story through the game or meet the remaining living characters and have quests with them. But I think that's just too far out... I could only wish they made it like it.

I hate this new found reasoning to implement NG+. Gone are the days of just wanting a power fantasy whilst skipping the grind.

@@DNye its come random sometime like npc car still wall penetrates, when punch random npc they freeze few seconds then fall, need more fix Npc AI in street, V shadow animation still look like gta 3 animation and few bug. For next update feature, maybe add flying car who can drive by player, add E3 Crowd like, add more type customization cyberware face, head, arm or even body for example like maelstrom have, show sandi in his/her back when V implant it and then add new dlc expansion (especially moon dlc)

Honestly CDPR should have moved closer to Mike Pondsmith and listened to him more. An easily lore friendly escuse for the European influences on night city would be EBM being one of the corps that helped create night city.... wish CDPR cared about the lore of cyberpunk half as much as they did for the witcher.

I 100000000000000000% disagree with them moving it to Boston dev team. Bringing american college woke culture into a cyberpunk game is going to tank it. Even though its a dystopian future they will scratch that and just check all the DEI ESG boxes they can for "modern audiences". The dev management does it because they are in a cult, the game studio allows it because they can get more loan money to force "the message" down everyones throat.
