      Thanks! I recently started buying my Bamboo on Amazon and find it much cheaper than I can find it locally. When my daughter moved a year ago she took her cat, so now I don't have to worry about it being nibbled on. LOL TFW!

    What a great tutorial, love the combos you made. The owl is my favorite. I bet they would look nice in those rugged MCM German vases/pots too, and I think I have a couple that I am willing to commit to this project for myself, lol. Thumbs up, awesome job. Cheers, MM

    Jen, I did about 12 planters of lucky bamboo. I don't have an asian store here in Kansas / town. I ordered $11.00 off of Amazon... It went on and on... They need to be tagged and sent to Antique mall now... Thanks for the idea... I just picked up lots of different containers and tried not to spend over a dollar.

    You can also tie the stocks with Jute cord for added security and prettiness. A little jute around the orange container would look nice with the cord around it.

    Those are very cute, my favorite is the elephant and then the turtle. I have one little planter that I've never been able to get anything to grow in, it doesn't have a drain hole and it's so small, anyway, I am going to try this in that planter. It is a hippo and isn't anything fancy but I bought it with a friend of mine who is no longer alive so I want to use it.
    Do you keep these out of the sun or in the sun?
    Thanks for sharing.

    • @PudgyPicker
      @PudgyPicker  Před 8 lety +1

      +Lottie Faith No drain hole for sure. They do not like a lot of sunlight so you can pretty much put them anywhere in the house. TFW!

    I love your tube channel. Thanks for all the great tips.
    I recently opened a booth at one of the local vintage shops.
    Do you have a tutorial on decorating a bird cage? I prefer to use artificial greenery than fresh. I feel the soil would make a mess in the shop. People are always moving things around.

    • @PudgyPicker
      @PudgyPicker  Před 4 lety

      I keep them filled with water nearly to the top. As long as the roots stay under water. Look up ideas on bird cages on Pintrest. They are a million ways to stage them to sell. TFW!

      ok will do. quick question can I buy a white elephant container from you? My momma has passed away a few years ago, and she loved white elephant (said it was good omen) and I thought of her when I saw your decorations. I have looked and looked but have not had any luck finding a white elephant one, please if you can that would mean so much to me. I will buy it from you with shipping and expense too. Jen, you talked about what does and doesn't sell in a booth, in one of your vids....mentioning baskets and that they would have to be special or unusual.....You are so creative. Wonder if you could pick up a car load of those everyday-type baskets that are so plentiful and that nobody wants, and jazz them up somehow so they would actually sell? Paint, ribbon, beads, add-ons, cute cloth liners.......?????
