Thank you very much for burning sparkles inside such a historical monument. You have set a good example of selfishness.
While I thought Shawn did a great job on this video, I was thinking the same thing. I don't see his behaviour as being respectful to the environment, and to Iceland. I see so many videos that discuss having respect for the Icelandic environment as it is very sensitive. I am assuming he drove to the plane well before the owner disallowed it. Knowing I am going sometime when this pandemic quiets down, I will not do the same. Being an elementary school teacher, I try to teach my students about respect for the environment. Maybe Shawn had permits for filming areas I thought you were not allowed to? Hopefully so.
@@1960ceramic I visited this site in summer of 2016, a few months after the land owner closed the gate. I saw many people climbed to the top of the plane & I found some graffitis as well. The plane won't last long if we keep doing that. If you think burning sparkles inside it is right, I would like to see someone doing the same thing inside Leaning Tower of Pisa, Taj Mahal or Potala Palace.
@@ivanwu3819 Hi Ian. I did not think it was okay to burn sparklers or steel wool inside the plane. Thanks for the clarification on the date the owner closed the gate, though. I am a firm believer in preservation of historic sites, and I thought I was clear on this in my comment. Take care.
Iceland + HUMMER H2 + Cameras = Heaven ... The Best Video in CZcams ❤️

Amazing,You guys done great job. All the Best
Stunning!
you are a very lucky guy, and awesome pictures......
Love the plane shot!
Please don't drive off-road. If there isn't a track already, walk. In Iceland it can take decades for tracks to weather away. That's why off-roading is illegal in Iceland.
+Jóhann G. Ólafsson Thank you Jóhann for your comment and we completely agree. Although it may appear as though we were off-roading, we were always either on a designated off-road trail or were following our guide.
+1StopCloser Your reply to Jóhann. " Although it may appear as though we were off-roading, we were always either on a designated off-road trail or were following our guide."
You were totally in off-road driving there. If you have been following guide who apparently was also lost.
1. If you had been with a tour guidet he would completely known how to get to the plane.
2. Tour guide in Iceland never go with tourists in off road driving. It seems that you have not been with any guide on this trip down to the sand where the plane was. I am a landscape photographer here in Iceland and please respect the landscape that you are taking picture of. NO OFF ROAD DRIVING.
Good job they're in the hummer, no chance of them off roading.
The land owner block the access to the plane wreckage , the only way to get in is through a 4km hike (one way).
Great Job,...its wonderful.
you guys are unbelievable the most beautiful Iceland video I've ever seen
Spellbound. Keep Shooting and posting videos, because not every photographer gets the opportunity to see such moments.
Thank you
Hey Shawn! Thank you for the very very amazing Video.
All the best from Germany
When I see your spectacular shots I can only imagine how great they would look in time lapse. I am going to Iceland next week to shoot a time lapse film and I am really hoping for great weather conditions! This video is an inspiration.
Totally amazing guys!!
Simply awesome =) Thank you =)))
Wow these are all very stunning shots! Amazing job! Planning to go to Iceland next year, but in May. I am very excited to see the landscape and what Mother Nature has to offer. Subscribed! 😊
Such an inspiring film! Hoping to get my drone in the air this time in Iceland! Such a beautiful country
Fabulous!
wish I could go! looks stunning!
Amazing Video! I went there in November 2011 and I'm really looking forward in traveling there again. What made me laugh a bit was that you spend hours in finding the plane crash site. I spend 15 minutes to find it during the travel on Google Maps Satellite View. The rest was a peace of cake. All the best from Germany!
Simply Amazing
Amazin video!!! 👍
i'm glad you like my country i feel so special. 1StopCloser keep on taking these amazing pictures keep up the good work. I subbed hope you make more of icealnd. bye bye!

Wow!!!

Please make more
Amazing...
hey Shawn will there be a new series of videos. really enjoyed this one, in truth all the videos are great hope to see some more as i love travel photography and your videos have been an inspiration
Amazing work. I am just starting out again with a new DSLR...Canon T6i. I would like to purchase a 5D in few years. Thanks for sharing. I like how you include the settings used for the shots in your videos.
Superb, one day I will get there also...
I call BS on spending "hours looking everywhere" for the DC-3. It's a relatively well-known tourist destination and a quick Google search would have told you exactly how to get there. Especially considering your own footage shows you entering the gate that leads directly to the plane. Your photos are awesome, but be respectful so others can enjoy the landscape as much as you have.
awesome video!
Great informative video.
Hey Shaun was just wondering if there will be any new videos as this was such an amazing series .
I am speechless...
Impresionante.
Amazing shots! Really one of the best photography videos I have seen. I've been also thinking to visit Iceland for a photography trip. But I don't have a car and I'm travelling alone. Could be difficult..
Omg this is so amazing... I hope one day.. I can go to Iceland.. and look with my own eye...|:
went to iceland during summer. 24 hour s of daylight visited most föss amazing country
Which guide tour did you go with to Vatnajokull Glacier? I'm planning to go there in December! Thank you! :)
So Cool...
Incredibly inspiring. Which month of the year was your trip? Thanks
Amazing Video - Thank you!!! I note that you posted in October, but when was the actual trip. It looks like the perfect time to go.. less people to get in your pictures. Also how long was your trip. I am planning another trip and want to focus on photography.
Iceland is ❤️ I love how the drone was flying around the hummer while driving, we weren’t able to do that because our drone was small, could not stand strong winds
dear ..its an very nice video and this been watched by me 16:26
minutes this minutes are flown like anything ..its very clear video
what camera been used ..and i watch many of water falls which was
spectacular view ..thanks for such video..
What a video!!! I am visiting this December and you went to all the places I have planned to go. How long was your visit? Thanks!!
Please, we are waiting your next video !
Awesome video Shawn!! I just want to know in which month did you visit Iceland and how you reach that 2nd ice cave?
which was the month of visit ?? Absolutely mesmerizing
this is sooo beautiful!! i can't wait to go in Iceland in march😄 i have to see the second cave but the guide its so expensive , you have to walk a lot from where you left the car??
Alex ale Do keep us updated how the Ice caves are in march, I'm planning a trip around march too.
HI +1StopCloser ! Great Video !! What time of year was this video, how long were you there for and also who did you fly with and where they any regs for bringing in your drone? Wish I had taken my drone to Iceland.....but the baggage allowances are terrible on Wow Air!
Amazing TOP
great vid
Which drone were you using and the camera equipped along with it please?
How did you manage to capture waterfall going up, while the drone was starting? ;)
As for the amazing photos.. sometimes it's not worth ruining the landscape or monuments just for a photo.
Where was that hot spring looks amazing.
Hey Shawn, amazing video and shots. When did you travel? what month?
what date was this video made? I see the date it was uploaded but is not mention what date you traveled. I would like to travel with that kind of weather and see the northern lights for good photography.
I'm from Iceland its awesome
ICELAND is too cool place ! WoW :D Nice Video Man Keep It Up! I Subscribed You :D
Any chance you’d share what wide angle lens you used?
What is the second song in the intro? Amaizing series you have done! Thank you !
Loved the video! What time of the year did you take this trip?
I have been thinking, what kind of editing program do you use??
Which month did you visit? There's absolutely no crowd anywhere and the weather looks good :)
nice one sir
very beautiful
I am heading to Iceland in April, I just booked my trip! I can't wait. Any suggestions on things to do, see, eat? Also, do you think I will see the Northern Lights?
Celina Marie Artistry ,i hope you share the Iceland adventure ;)
D Diaz You know it! Packing all my cameras ;)
Hey, if you already been to Iceland, i want to see your photos ;)
background music name?
great vid what month did you go
which camera or cameras do you use?
The iceberg that sunk the titanic came from Greenland not Jökulsárlón. Nice video though, Its given me some ideas for next week when i go.
what are the background musics in this video?
Hi which month of the year did you visit Iceland?
What month did you go in? I am going in June 2016 and plan to make more trips in the future and even though I am not a huge winter fan want to make it sometime in the winter for Ice caves and northern lights.
+swenger27a june is the best time to be in Iceland , 24 daylight hope you´ll get some sleep ..i live here and i never can get used to the constant sunlight :))
what camera are you using?
As I watched this video I kind of did not catch that landscape photographer feeling.
Don't get me wrong, but driving a H2 through Iceland, setting up a massive drone and warning people from going into ice caves but right after this doing so does not match with my understanding of (landscape) photography.
Sorry for that, but I just don't get it here in this video.
What were the exact travel dates? I was planning to visit during this December, any chances of getting northern lights around that time? Please advise.
This was in November. I assume December would be good too.
