Yes that’s a great trailer. I’ve got a Jayco 16 MRB Hummingbird with a front Murphy bed and a huge rear bathroom, and to me it’s all about the bathroom. I’ve had several trailers over the years and the offerings today are great I would like to see more Australian style overland trailers in America though.

Tell Wally he should look at a Capri retreat camper. With a good set of electric jacks he can use the camper on or off the truck when he gets to someplace he wants to explore and not take the camper all around with him in a local area.
Mount that Camper on the back of a 4 WD Fuso roll back truck and you can have a $120K of road Motorhome.

My new Apex Nano 185bh has an off-grid package which includes and upgraded 50gal fresh tank. Huge for such a tiny RV. Also 30gal grey and 30gal black.

I took a “super doody” this morning
Just got a 2019 jay flight slx Baja with a bunk house. Went from a 2018 forest River Evo 30 ft to this smaller 21 ft Jayco. It’s pretty nice
So eventually you want some thing smaller, I saw yours and kinda liked it, but when you said you almost got stuck, I think I would prefer a smaller one also, the Jay flight 145 Baja.
The camper is beautiful I just love the layout wonderful job

The girlfriend would love that thing right up until I peeled it open on a rock or tree. I just downsized from a truck camper back to a camper shell on my Ram. Nice setup though

I'm thinking about buying the same model. Are you bummed you sold it? Any reasons you could think of not buying one? Was it hard to tow in wind? On sand? On rough roads?

How do the trailer with out off road trailer hitch handle off road they do not come off the ball
Brandon Laswiss never took it through intense trails... it’s not designed for that. But, the clearance is very nice to have.

I owned a Thor built18 footer with tandem torsion axels. Loved that trailer and traded it in for a 24 foot Coachman. Big mistake and the coachman trailer was a POS. Live and learned

Has a gvwr of 3500 lbs, dry weight of about 2700. Dealers claim some minivans can tow it, that makes me kinda skeptical but it sure is light.

@@jamiethomas8975 - reasoning? they are overpriced, unreliable, and have poor after-sale support, but are otherwise an excellent choice. to be fair, that is true of many RVs today, sadly and IME.

Actually, the trailer is limited by it's Cargo Carrying Capacity.
835 payload before ANY options. I love single axle trailers. We had one for 20000 miles. But I really hate how the manufacturers absolutely handicap these trailers by specifying weak axles.
By the time you add up the extra batteries, extra propane bottle, and electric jack....I bet you have 400 to 500 lbs of payload remaining.
As much as these trailers are awesome they are price point trailers. And the extra $500 to find a stronger axle isn't in the Elkhart Profit first business plan.

MrLaughingcorpse tow a camper every weekend and you come to realize, the minimalist approach is just so convenient... don’t get me wrong, i LOVED having a full on home on wheels. I just didn’t need it...
