Both players fought hard but Chen Meng is mentally and technically stronger. A well deserved title for Chen Meng.
Chen Meng wraps up her number one status in one spectacular tournament. Ms Sun will continue to be a top challenger for many years for sure.
I've never heard Cheng Meng shout this loud before in a match. The level of skill shown by Sun here pushed her to play her best. WOW.
You can see how much this meant to Chen Meng. Poor Shasha she looked so demoralised from her opponent's shouts.

SYS had the momentum at the end of the first game with a blistering finish. However, CM made the adjustments and her defense was impeccable, causing SYS serious problems throughout the rest of the match. Congrats to Chen Meng!

Chen Meng's backhand rally is just better than everyone and she always, always is ready to press the next ball. Her first forehand spin is slow but so loaded, it forces an error from the opponent. And her touch is just superb, she manages to place the ball ambiguously short - you can see Sun Yingsha has trouble attacking it. And her anticipation is just unbelievable, she really knows where the next ball is going. Best player in the world, should be Olympic champion already.

adam makes the game interesting/enjoyable for some, but he just gets really excited and favors certain players. His analysis is really subpar compared to older ittf commentators and many chinese commentators. He's definitely better than the male commentator in this video, but britt's analysis as a professional player is better.
No need LSW or Ding Ning. Plenty of fire power here.

孙穎莎依然老问题，反手没直线，台内不细腻，落点线路节奏都显得单一，跟力量大一号的陈梦这样反手硬来，是根本无法取胜的。加上不久前的全中国锦标赛，两场都是完败。
孙颖莎适合打逆风球，每次看到她领先5分就觉得她要翻车 第二局5-1如果好好紧一点可能就赢了。半决赛打伊藤也一样第四局领先4,5分时候就开始失误和放松 要不然4-0结束战斗了。感觉她就是缺少了细腻和节奏变化，陈梦最近好像是被马琳教导 细节扣得很细变化也多了 昨天半决赛打削球第一局别虐了 第二局也是落后4,5分最后也是一分分扣回来赢下来的。孙颖莎如果反手变化不多的话就应该争取前三板发抢就要给对方压力
@@binbinshao1575 她不是放松的问题，是技术厚度不够，这种决赛根本不存在松懈。落后的时候她算是放手一搏了，其实风险也很大，碰上旗鼓相当的对手可能就搏赢了，但是陈梦技术力量都比她厚实。孙打王曼昱都很惊险呢，别说陈梦了，陈梦也一直虐王曼昱，因为陈梦根本不怕这种直来直往的球风。孙没有小球控制，只靠这样打，除非陈梦状态不行，否则永远打不过。

孙颖沙接发球太无力
陈梦和孙颖莎打法不相似。孙颖莎技术和刘诗雯像的点是衔接，正反手的转换速度。但是孙颖莎正手技术更好。刘诗雯前三板好。不过孙颖莎还有时间来丰富。这次她打陈梦前三板太保守。反手不是孙颖莎的特长，其实陈梦打得很简单，就是过掉前三板打反手相持。她抓了孙颖莎身材小手臂短的劣势。不过孙颖莎完全可以向朱雨玲取经。什么时候孙颖莎的反手节奏，落点以及变线稳定了，她正手的优势会更好。这是她缺的技术。其实就算这场比赛孙颖莎也是有机会，只是战术方向错了。她应该把前三板打得更有侵略性一些。那些说陈梦第一的我想说中国女队队员都互有胜负。交手记录陈梦并不占优。
好多人说孙颖莎这不行那不行，但是她已经很好了。只不过国家队的资源没有对她倾斜过。陈梦比她吃的资源多多了。孙颖莎今年8月才和自己教练见面。他教练一直跟不了她的比赛。其他大部分时间除了李隼偶尔盯一盯，就是她自己找队友练。就连这样的比赛打队友李隼是不会给她指导的，因为他是女队主教练。因为丁宁的淡出和刘诗雯的伤病。今年马琳一直紧跟陈梦训练，而王曼昱就更不用说，有肖战紧跟。还有人说孙颖莎打王曼昱就险胜，我想说对于一个吃百家饭的主力来说，她已经很好了。更别说她才刚满20岁。虽说现在通讯发达，但是教练在身边会更好的练技术。
我的天呐。。洗脑包都发到这来了？。。资源倾斜。。就算倾斜也是自己靠成绩争取来的。。陈梦多少次被拿掉大赛名额，老黄带她的时候也基本不跟队出征。进一队不知道换了多少个教练组，要资源倾斜怎么不早点倾斜？

Almost all Chinese TT fans admit that Chen is currently more stronger than Sun. Sun is good, but doesn't play smartly enough, she has no chance to beat Chen by using only speed and strength. Sun still has long way to go.

ITTF should offer the option to just see the game without any commentary. If I turn down the volume, I dont hear the ball anymore, which is also bad. I didnt like the commentators either, nonstop talking, like they didnt care about the game. Not much insight either. Adam Bobrow is the best we have...
Both commentators seems to not know the background of the players, so thats why they just commentate what they see and that could be annoying. Backhand oh forehand oh net net oh they catched the net oh service miss..
@@nomuratrickshots6875 Exactly. The male commentator doesnt have a clue what is going on and the female is not much better and keeps on talking and talking... Very annoying. I finally watched the game without sound :-)
@@nulldemokratiezwei7773 I honestly think that ITTF needs time to develop more great commentators and this could be maybe a learning process situation right now. Maybe after several month they are able to get better taste and knowledge to commentate. It's just pitty that its during those big events, instead of just open tournaments.
