I've watched this episode a few times now, it's a lot of wisdom for and hour and twenty seven minutes. I'm so grateful for this episode! Plus, I think that what Naftali says with the questions that Sahara makes is what makes the content even clearer and so spot on ✨❤ This is like a book in a video!

I think it comes down to the desire for individuals to learn and grow. People should approach relationships with curiosity and with the desire for self-improvement and also the desire to see your partner grow.
Both partners need to see eachother as equals and be willing to put in the difficult work for these relationships to thrive. If either partner gets triggered by something, they shouldn't point a finger but look inwards as to what triggered them. The other partner should provide a safe space to allow for that exploration and vice versa. That is what spiritual partnership is.
I've tapped out of romantic relationship years ago since I have a spiritual partnership that is non romantic. It's fulfilling enough for me.

Well done to the both of you , you came strong but was seen from a place of experience and external conversation- - your tone of voice was saying give me answers and he just gently guided the answers with strength to you and your head nods of understanding and satisfaction ( great convo )

What a beautifully mature and deep discussion. Thank you both for sharing your experience and wisdom. I can relate to what you discussed and the importance of creating our true love story with ourselves and getting real with what we desire.
The discussion about compromise resonates. Would love to see you both discuss other topics.
Sahara so much of what you spoke about regarding your learning post-divorce has also been my experience. I do believe we are unconsciously attached to the stories and patterns we learned as children we don’t realize when the reality may not fit our desires in life.

On the marriage topic and recognizing there is no true real security-
I think it comes down to self trust. Do you trust your future self to navigate the potential loss of a relationship or marriage. If you don’t then you’re going to live in a constant of fear and avoid the things that bring us joy and fulfillment along with self growth.

Great podcast Sahara, I’m def a fan! On the other side for me as far as what Sahara was used to, my mother was always very corporate, All about work and stressed out all the time. And growing up that’s all I saw and it stressed and saddened me to see her that way and I never wanted to be that way. So I chose a an opposite path. Still career minded but more about tapping into my passion and creativities. And now that I’ve fulfilled that, I want to be home and cook and clean and be a mother. Raise my child. And yet women my age range look at what I’m doing and think either how lucky I am or how sad I turned to domestication. When at the end of the day I am happier in this lifestyle. Grant it, it’s only been three years but I def intend to raise my baby and homeschool him until he’s 6-7 then possibly work part time or do something off the wall work wise. I just want “to be” at this phase in my life and stop proving myself to others

Interesting conversation with a really interesting guy - definitely got some serious wisdom going… 🙌🏼😊 but somehow I‘ve „enjoyed“ other episodes more (and I feel the most talented and inspiring Sahara has too 😉). This guy for sure has a lot to share… I hope he can relax and lighten up a bit though. Pretty intense. What I love about Sahara Rose is the lightheartedness brought into deep & serious topics.

I wish you would get actual Polyamorous people on to talk when you bring up the topic, instead of getting monogamous people that don’t have an understanding of it.
All of your episodes are from a monogamous perspective & I can respect that because that’s who you are. But to talk about a topic with someone else that neither of you have personal experience with, seems quite unfair to the Polyamorous community. Him Saying that it doesn’t “work for women” like it’s facts, is really sad. Because it’s ignoring the fact that there really are a bunch of Polyamorous relationships that have lasted decades. Unfortunately because of all the Stigma, A LOT of the community is actually “in the closet”.
Anyway, still sending you all love & no hate ❤ I just wish people would represent our community better so, so many people wouldn’t have to hide their relationships. 🫶🏼✨

polyamorous is treating yourself like a garbage disposal any man can dump their custard on you without the requirement of treating you like a Beautiful treasure queen. Stds is been known to be widespread in polyamorous relationships by medical professionals. I will take Queen treatment over lust cus i know my value.

      @@lovelyesmeralduh
If monogamy works for you, great. Good for you, I’m not gonna belittle you for your life choices and pretend like my choices are better than yours.
It’d be nice if people learned to respect each other’s difference & spoke from curiosity more than judgement. We could all learn something from each other.
I feel like you’re talking from a perspective that assumes that polyamory is only done by heterosexual people only. It also seems like you’re assuming that polyamory is solely one man with many women, but that’s not how it works.
Even comparing monogamy with Polyamory is unfair. Since monogamy is just two people being exclusive. Whereas Polyamory is an umbrella term to a large variety of relationship dynamics. There are close triads for example, and it’s not always necessarily one man and two women (it could just as well be 3 women). That’s just the stereotype people think of when they think of Polyamory. There are quads and Solo Polyamorous folks and a bunch in between. Which I feel is nice to know that my relationships don’t have to be predetermined to how society conditioned us. I like knowing that I can create my own dynamic with the people in my life.
      🫶🏼🤍✨
Anyway, I can obviously go on forever because I really wish to change the stigma around it. So I hope if anyone reads this, maybe you learned a little something today. If not, that’s okay. No need to let stranger’s life choices negatively impact you. We’re all just here to have experiences 🤍🫶🏼✨ love and light to you ✨🫶🏼
