Ed Harris is someone I always felt was underrated, especially in his work as a side character. He always elevates any film he's in. With that said, I must have missed this one lol. I appreciate your thoughts on the film and might consider checking it out myself at minimum to check out the performances. Great stuff man.
Thanks dude. Yeah a definite under the radar film. Nobody did a bad job from a performance stand point it’s just a messy story.
One I’ll give a wide berth. Thanks Ryan!
No problem.
Totally agree. I barely made it through. There's just nothing to attach to. Like you're just wandering through this town hoping to hear something interesting.
Yeah that ending was terrible. Unfortunate with the cast and what it could have been.
Oh, wow! I hadn't heard of this one, but I can't believe how stacked the cast is. It's unfortunate that this film didn't make more use of their talent and make a better film all around.
It’ seems to happen very frequently these days. Solid casts but not knowing how to mingle them all into the script.
The most interesting part: who gives money to such writers and directors!
I think it’s just cheaper to hire these directors and writers. Keeps the cost down. Bottom line always with any company.
What a shame! I saw that this released on digital with a mega cast but unfortunately it sounds like all of them are wasted
Yeah for the most part they are.
i agree with you on this one this one is a complete miss for me but liked your take on this one great one Ryan
No rush for sure to bother with this one.
I hadn’t heard of this movie. It’s cool you gave it a fair chance.
Yeah definitely one that is under the radar. I wish it would have been better.
Fully watched Ryan, I don’t really think I’d like it either, I’ll pass on this one, great review, you’re the best, my buddy, fully watched
Thanks Bryan. Much appreciated as always.
@@RavensOsFan89 no problem my bro
Havent heard of it and glad to come on your channel to hear the review of this movie. The name of the movie itself gives me a reason to pass on it. But I like to have an open mind to hear what you think of it? How are you doing today and how your day?
Yeah the name refers to the city it takes place in. The day is just beginning.
Vanessa Hudgens?! Thats crazy! Shes lately been doing netflix movies and did Tik tik boom but still, interesting to me.
Yeah she hangs around still. She’s pregnant right now so she won’t make anything new unless it’s something that’s been shelved coming out later.
@@RavensOsFan89 I heard she’s pregnant, the only thing I can think of is that she might of taped something before her baby but we shall see
@@theprodigiousspiderstarTM yeah she’s pregnant for sure. She hosted the preshow for the Oscar’s
I wonder if the director is related to Richard Linkletter 🤔
No relation actually.
Haven't heard of this one. At least I know I can pass on it haha
Yeah easy pass for sure man.
The thumbnail says it all 😅 Another one I know to avoid.
Yeah definitely find time to do something else.
This film is new to me. I'll skip it, if you don't mind :) Thank you for your review.
You’re not missing much. It’s too messy and not polished enough.
Ryan! Your face in the thumbnail! Yikes! 1½. I'll probably pass. Cheers! 🤘🏼🍻
Yeah it’s just too messy.
I don’t know if you read the book, but it was awesome and I saw it so clearly as a movie in my mind. I was so disappointed on what the film makers did to Chuck Klostermans novel. They cut out the most interesting characters and storylines from the book. God I’m so pissed on how they could possibly of blown this. It was not meant to be a movie it would have been perfect as a series. For fuck sake they don’t even give you a background of who Cubby Candy is. It was just awful and if this is the directors first movie they need to find another occupation.
Never read the book but, yeah missed the mark with this one. Thanks for stopping by.
@@RavensOsFan89I'm a Klosterman fan. The best parts of the book are the characters' interior monologues. When I read it I thought, "it's good, but it's doesn't seem like it'll translate to film well."
I don't know why people think that cheating 304s should be celebrated. Either tell your significant other that you want a divorce before you cheat or you are simply the worst human being ever. The movie wants me to find it funny that wants to sleep around? Yeah no....
Yeah you see that quite a bit in movies.
@@RavensOsFan89In the book Julia is not married. She's just out of college.
Sounds like this is worth skipping.
I can confirm for sure a skip.
Yeah this movie doesn't sound to great at all.
I would not waste your time. Do something else lol.
@@RavensOsFan89 ya wouldn't plan on it lol
