Thank you so much! I just bought a Sony multi channel AV receiver to use for my projector. When I use chromecast to cast netflix to my projector, its fine when I just connect a speaker via an aux cable to my projector. With youtube I have a problem getting both video and audio. My workaround is to use the static Sony speakers I have from a DVD home theatre system with the Multi Channel AV receiver as the static speakers. I'm plugging my chromecast and projector in the AV receiver, along with the speakers. My speakers had these plastic caps on them though, which I have to just put the ends of the wires in the receiver. I wasn't sure how to remove the plastic caps. Thank you for helping me fix this massive projector problem I've been having!
I am planning to buy this one. I have already provisioned cable for rear speakers in my ceiling. Is there a possibility that I can use existing my cable that flows from ceiling to tv panel. Reason I ask this question is that, at the subwoofer end of cable there is clip which I feel may be problem for me. Also is it fine to cut in built cable and then join to my existing cable using tape? If not what's alternative?

Dear Friends You will find more easy way to connect & extend the wire for these type of connectors..At the end of speaker wire where there is Female end, Simply insert your new wire for extension with help of safety pin and fix it with cellotape. and at the end of subwoofer where there is male connector , here use your normal ball pen empty refill (cut it for 1 or 1.5 cm) remove cover of wire slightly more than that 1/1.5 cm and pass through it and fix the backide i.e refiill and wire with cellotape and insert that refill filled with wire in male connector.
