And they really think their that good at the game, the best lol… Yet their initial reaction is to run and hide when a fight breaks out, every time. Leaving their team to die, while forcing you to then watch them hide in a bush, so you don’t lose LP. Telling themselves I just got get higher in rank, so I can play with actual good players. 🤦♂️ I will literally die trying to either recover my teammates, and or push the fights they do, even if it’s risky just to uphold the team dynamic. I’d rather die trying and gradually improve, than hide in a bush watching my team die. Cheating not only my teammates, but myself out of any form of fun or improvement. They deserve no love.

Quick tip. Apex has a report button where you can report your teammates for inactivity during match and for sabotage. I've reported all my teammates who played like this and healed in zone... And I honestly think it should be banable. Sure if your teammates are afk for a good reason, or rat because both other teammates died, then it's fine. But I've had so many teammates who were ratting, they didn't even pick up weapons...
I get where you are going with it, but no it shouldn't be bannable, even tho it is a bad way to do ranked it is a legit way to get higher, if it weren't for the community it wouldn't be like this, they complain no matter what and they try different ranked systems, and then oversights like this pop up

I ratted to masters but unlike everyone else I wore the trail maybe once or twice just to see how it looked, then took it off, didn't wear the badge nor the trail all season and still don't use the badge. I even made sure if I had a guy using the trail or badge on my team to not work with them and I'd land solo

Ratting culture is also a thing because match making is ranked is ass. I find myself majority of the time realizing i can not trust my team because their skill level is not up to par on my own. Ranked makes gives you trust issues which makes you realize you are ultimately 1v3 enemy teams so the solution to 1v3 is avoiding fights unless you have to take them. Hence a rat is born.
I actually had rockfish as a teammate too, and he did the same thing, and had the same arguement. I surprised he's still got an acc. So much for reporting them for being inactive, or sabotaging a game.
