The plot revolves around a Brandon, a failing comedian, is playing his final gig at a small bar in the story. The film transitions to numerous storylines as he recounts jokes about his own life, which are all loosely tied to Brandon's personal experiences. "The Exorcism," the opening story, revolves around a young woman named Sarah who becomes possessed by a demon. Her parents summon an exorcist, but the exorcism goes disastrously wrong. While "The Stalker," the second story, is about a woman named Alice who is being stalked by an unknown man. The man sends her frightening text messages and even enters her flat. Alice eventually finds the man and confronts him, but the meeting leaves her even more frightened than before.
"The Undead Man," the third narrative, is about a man named David who wakes up one day to discover that he is dead. He can still see and hear his surroundings, but he cannot interact with them. David eventually realises that he is stuck between life and death. We also discuss few more stories.
Asylum: Twisted Horror and Fantasy Tales movie is an unusual collection. Some of the stories are well-written and exciting, while others are mediocre. The framing device with Brandon is also unneeded and adds little to the film. Overall, Asylum is a fun anthology film with some effective scares, but it's not a must-see. The film's thrilling conclusion and unexpected twists make it a must-see for fans of paranormal horror.
