great content! but how can I connect a google sheets so i dont need to keep re uploading it, the data on the sheet is always being updated and I would like chat gpt to to be able to read the live data ?
It's Read-only right now meaning It can read any file you give it so you dont have to download it and upload it. It doesn't actually update any of your files (yet).
When i tried to uplaod the google sheet it says: Unable to display visualization There is a persistent issue with accessing the files. This might be due to the file itself or some technical limitations. Any suggestions on how to resolve this??
which plan shall I use, the drive attachment doesn't show in my chat, or in my settings !! is it for a specific plan? I am currently using the Plus plan
I think if you can log in on the website on the ipad you might be able to. But not sure if it will actually just open up th google drive app on the ipad.
I've had GPT analyze spreadsheet data in the past and it, 100% of the time, returned inaccurate results. If you go back and check its results, are they correct?
Totally agree. Sometimes it can be comically bad. I've actually seen Claude work better in some cases for data analysis especially when you're trying to analyze qualitative data.
@dundasbrands hopefully it'll get better soon. I'm OK with occasional hallucinations but when I feed it data I'd expect it to know how to read spreadsheets and call ranges. We aren't talking garbage in garbage out. We are talking binary factually accurate values and abacus basic arithmetic.
100% agree. definitely always double check but as a first pass its good. I'm sure it also depends on the size of the data. What kind of data analysis do you do?
ChatGPT definitely imperfect, and can't do everything well. But for the work I do on a daily basis this can be helpful. It minutes it saves a bunch of time. Also this is the worst this technology is going to be. But GPT-4o is night and day better than 12 months ago when it was mostly unsuable.

Not sure but that's a good question. Maybe I'll give that a test and do a video on it if I can figure it out!
Does this work on the MacOS version? I am using the macOS version and I don't see the option to connect to google drive

ChatGPT can’t draw a square, can’t count syllables and its art output looks like Microsoft clip art.
