The real question here is how on earth this only has 1,1k views. This is top-tier content for both filmmaking and animation. Thank you for the effort you put on every video for us strangers to watch. Really rooting for you and your channel to blow up! Keep it up.
why is everything he does so clean😍
Excellent piece and journey, Sky. You’ve taken your work to the next level by not making that your goal! Love the process, very inspiring. 😁❤️
I speak for everyone when I say that mom's reaction was ours too😂 Great work man, you're the 🐐 so act like it!!!!
Absolutely love this, 200 hours well spent. You have a real talent ❤
watching the whole process was really interesting - especially on YT you can get the feeling that everybody has it all figured out from the get go, when the real magic happens in the between
this video was cool asf, you're right I need to grow my artistic reliance
Hi Sky 👋,
As someone who’s been exploring his creativity, I can relate to you when it comes to letting the fear of failure and unrealistic expectations we set for ourselves get the better of us to a point where we end up either finishing our creations a lot longer than we initially anticipated or not finishing them at all. Not only is this a struggle I’m trying to overcome, but I’m also figuring out how to keep things simple and make them work for me throughout my own creative journey.
I think we’d be much happier with the success we have if we embrace the process and let things happen spontaneously. On the other hand, if we were to rush the process and force things to happen against their own intuitive flow, we’d end up feeling not only frustrated with the process, but also disappointed and unsatisfied with the results.
Best of luck to you on your journey as a creative!
Sending you lots of love!!! ❤️❤️❤️🤗
Ritchie
Hey Ritchie, thanks so much for the comment! I’m glad you can relate, and in all honesty as much as sometimes I wish I didn’t overthink things (just to keep things more simple), overcoming the hardships is part of what makes projects like this so special. Good luck in all of your creative endeavors! 🙏
@@Skymography Thanks Sky! I think this is especially true when you realize there are other people who are also learning to overcome the struggles that come with the journey as a creative. Looking forward to future videos from your channel! 🤗
Totally didn't expect to stumble on this. Love it. Now i'm inspired to recreate some bubbles in AE hahah
Do it! It's a fun challenge and a great practice in using/recreating reference imagery
Amazing work, brother! Super excited for you with all the progress in finding your way along your own creative life journey and looking forward to seeing what's next. I'm dealing with a lot of similar things in terms of wanting to create beautiful projects that push all of my skills, ideas, and abilities to the limits and that I know I can do but that just require such an unbelievable amount of time, that doing them alongside my full-time job is just proving to be unrealistic right now. I've published around 400 videos over like 15 years; at one point in 2020 I made a video every day for a month and then "came down" to cranking out *3 per week* with a full-time job AND building my software platform back before it was launched and in the most intense phase... and yet in the last 2 years... I think I've published 4 videos on CZcams...
So I'm doing my best to find through this very windy part of my own creative life path as well, desperately trying to find both the balance of learning vs. doing as well as the balance of creatively fulfilling but simple enough to complete in a reasonable timeframe. The learning vs. doing is a huge part of it for me... There's no question, I could have made a **LOT** of stuff in the 20-40 hours per week I've spent on courses and practicing in the last couple of years, but I love it so much and I'm so excited about using all the stuff I've learned, so I don't regret it but I've just got to figure the balancing act out. Because I've already got so many courses and materials queued up across Animation and Filmmaking that I'm absolutely ecstatic about, so I'm just going to have to be a lot more patient with making do with what I have, despite feeling like "oooh but all my videos will be better if I can learn X or Y so maybe I should just keep going and learn those things first so that all my videos will be better and more fun to make".
3 videos per week at one point is CRAZY to me, I don’t know how some people do daily content 😵💫 anyway, I think it’s important to remember that you don’t necessarily need a reason to keep learning new things. In your case, you may take a bunch of courses that may or may not help you long term, and although we hope they all do, as long as you’re having fun gaining new knowledge and feel good about it then that’s worth it already! At least I think so haha
thinking about getting into editing again so this was a good watch!
nice Sky!!!!
THIS IS AMAZING STUFF, BRO! Thank you for motivation that you gave me. I'm really inspired by your projects! Love it so much!
Heyooo, I greatly enjoy the mixture between your calming yet exciting narration, the stunning outcome of your projects and the sneak peaks into how you actually managed to come to these results. I found your channel a while ago because of your work for Simpliccisimus and I am really glad I sticked around!
