Nearly Witches was a song for an album they were working on but they couldn't finish the album in time so they scrapped it and worked on Pretty. Odd. instead, and Nearly Witches is the sole surviving song from that unfinished album. There was a stalker that got Ryan's number and texted him as Brendon and Ryan was humiliated because he thought he was talking to Brendon about getting the band back together and working on more songs but then Ryan was informed that it was just a crazy stalker girl. Spencer and Ryan were childhood friends. Brendon and Ryan only met at seventeen, and they didn't even like each other to begin with. It took like two months.The camera doesn't show Spencer much but he was probably crying too.

Nearly Witches was a song for an album they were working on but they couldn't finish the album in time so they scrapped it and worked on Pretty. Odd. instead, and Nearly Witches is the sole surviving song from that unfinished album. There was a stalker that got Ryan's number and texted him as Brendon and Ryan was humiliated because he thought he was talking to Brendon about getting the band back together and working on more songs but then Ryan was informed that it was just a crazy stalker girl. However, Nearly Witches is the last song they worked on together, and Brendon always sings "Here I am composing a burlesque" weirdly because that's the only lyric Ryan wrote for the song.
The fact that he can't play it without almost breaking down, is so upsetting. This song used to be such a happy song, and now every time someone listens to it, they cry.

Brendon announced a few days ago that Panic! At the Disco would be no more. Thank you so much for all the fun memories and music over the years, Brendon.
Don't get me wrong...I fucking adore dallon but.......you could tell brendon was hiding his sadness trying not to break down.....he could barely sings Ryan's part and it made me cry....I love the new panic but it hurts me to see brendon choke on this song because it truly was a ryden song and nor will it ever be a brallon song.
Why did I watch this agian? Why do I continue to watch Ryden vids and listen to old songs and interviews? Why do I live in the past?

Brendon and Spencer look and sound like literally trying not to break their freaking instruments. And Brendon getting the courage to do this song? Holy crap that takes determination and guts. I'm just so upset over this. Over the split. How does someone leave their best friend because of "musical differences" and not at least talk to them for 6 years+ ?! It just makes me so upset AND you can tell that Spence and Bren are a little off when they start to get more forceful with the song. At first Brendon puts on a fake smile and plays the best he can, then he gets sad and hurt, then he just gets mad. Dallon and Ian are so quiet because Brendon looks like he's about to explode. Can I just say how happy I am that Brendon can still perform the way he does and get excited and most of the time have a genuine smile, his closest friends left him. Jon, then Ryan, now Spencer! All I can say is go Brendon and I'm proud to be called one of his fans.

Now lets leave all the ryden fantasies alone for a moment and be serious. He's hurt because his best friends left the band, this song is such a nostalgic song it used to be a happy song but now the tables have turned and the songs changed for him. It probably used to remind him of the band as a whole maybe one of his best friends ryan. i just wanna go up there and hug him

Spencer and Ryan were childhood friends. Brendon and Ryan only met at seventeen, and they didn't even like each other to begin with. It took like two months.The camera doesn't show Spencer much but he was probably crying too.
+James Smith good point. I feel like Spencer still talks to Ryan (and maybe Jon) though, while Ryan and Brendon don't. And even though they might not have been friends at first and they weren't for very long I think Ryan and Brendon had a really good connection that you just don't see much. Spencer probably did have it worse anyways though.

You can tell he has some resentful feelings towards Ryan in this because anytime Dallon says "Hey Moon" or one of Ryans parts Brendon's facial expressions change completely or his body language gets more upset looking.
