@@pondao3980 I have never cared about skins in any game I have played so far. But knowing the terror for the other racers when they see the digital N. Tropy, man that just feels good xD Especially when you finish the race and no one else is able to do so in the remaining 30 seconds.

It’s a challenge to unlock him and I think that’s good. A challenge can be fun. And when you unlock him, playing him online is like wearing a medal to show you’ve completed the challenge

Just wait for Beenox to patch it out. And hey if u unlocked N Tropy in under 4 days, then it should be no problem unlocking him again, especially now that you’ve had experience and know what to do during the time trials
What annoys me is if when I do a trial I always beat n tropys time the first go & I have to do it again.. maybe one day on the weekend I’ll just grind it out but it’s just tedious doing all 30 tracks twice😂
Wait, I thought the game would bug out and delete your save data if you unlocked him? Or does that only happen on certain platforms instead of all of them? Edit: Never mind, I figured out that the glitch was exclusive to the PS4 version, and it's getting patched in a few days anyways.
TheBeagle Its a random freeze that happens because there was a lot of ghost data being recorded, any time during time trial after beating a certain track has a little chance of freezing and crashing the game, it doesn’t always freeze AFTER you unlock N. Tropy but it has the chance to do so.
@@drewster4871 We don't know, Beenox said that time trial save corruption glitch is fixed during 1.04 patch. however there are still reports of the save corruption glitch, only this time, it's less common to happen in time trial, and more online / adventure mode, if you are on PS4 and you still want to get N. Tropy and beat all of his time trial, i recommend you save your data to the cloud, and disable auto-save so it doesn't upload the corrupted data to the cloud. whenever the data corrupts, download the data you uploaded to the cloud.
@@SaudDehan mine just had a global save corrupt on it and lost all the characters that got earned in adventure mode. I tried the time trials on a different profile and it still did it on mine. And I can't upload data because I don't have ps Plus on that profile
For those that are complaining that he should be easier to unlock or placed into the pit shop, grow a pair of balls. He's not there for the casual gamers. He's for the people that worked there ass off and are great at the game so in return he is given as a reward for as a medal. If you can't handle that simple fact then stroll along and play many OTHER characters in the game. Quit crying. Thank you.

It's bragging rights. He is the only character that counts as a prestige, especially if you have his legendary skin which haz you defeat all of Oxides time trials
CipherBay I know but that’s my point as to why it’s sort of dumb. In the original game you could unlock him with a cheat and it’s not like he’s some super special amazing character. It’s just weird locking just one of the Crash 3 bosses behind such a challenge.
CTRNF N Tropy sounds similar to Skeletor from the 1980's He-Man cartoon at certain times - especially when he snickers. Maybe Burton has allergies and those affected his voice acting.. who knows.
That one is definitely the hardest one. I did it in 3.26. The main trick is to collect as much reserves in the "jumping outdoor space section", and then at the last jump (big green upward speed boost) not hit the wall and mantain the reserves. Then when you land you have maximum speed (check online reserves and ultimate sacred fire), the tricky part is the turn that comes after 3 speed boosts, I hop (spam R) and start turning earlier to avoid hitting the wall and that way you keep the ultimate speed for the longest time. Other parts of the level are less important but you need to learn how to do this since N Tropy is also doing it.
I wish I could hire a confident expert who can beat all N.Tropy's ghosts and aquire all the platinum relics so I can play as N.Tropy and have gold & platnum paint jobs it would mean so much the n.tropy ghost and relic races are so infuriating it would be great to have a friend who is an expert in the powerslide course that is only a picture from imagination.

Yes you have to beat N Tropy ghosts on ALL CTR AND CNK TRACKS and if I were you i would start doing them immediately cause when the Tawna Grand Prix rolls around you will probably beat N. Tropy on the new track(s) as well oh and if you want 1 of the best looking legendary skins in the game (the digital skin for N.Tropy) you will have to beat all of Nitorus Oxide ghosts
@@skycaboose You just need to beat 31 tracks. Bonus tracks count towards your progress too so you could try beating Retro Stadium instead if you are struggling.

Don't bother because I did and all my save data was corrupted leading to me losing N. Trophy, all time trial data, eight characters that I'd unlocked and skins for many of them. Wait till it's fixed.
They can take away your progress but they can't take away your skill and knowledge of the tracks. Just back up your data as you go and keep trying. You should be able to breeze through the tracks you already did. My data got corrupted on electron avenue so I can relate to your struggle.
@@lalatoya_ True, but it's very tedious doing the time trials! The fact you need to race to qualify to only race it again vs the ghost is a complete piss-take. I would've backed up but I honestly didn't see it coming. Another thing is that some people have reported how, even when they've backed up - afterwards it's not the same and the game is glitchy etc.

Unless you're fine with just doing it for fun and not gaining any ground on the achievements/unlocks etc, because it may be wiped again. Yeah it's good that the coins are saved to your account! It's a fun game too, it just needs tweaking and fixing a bit. I'd contacted Activision support yesterday and spoke with them. They've forwarded the issue on for further investigation. Hopefully Beenox and them will release info about an update soon....
They really screwed up N Tropy in this version. He’s supposed to be the fastest time without shortcuts but here he’s so inconsistent with which he uses and is just a worse oxide. It shouldn’t take jumping the river every lap on Blizzard Bluff to beat N Tropy that should just be for Oxide. And on Oxide station his time is only 3 seconds less that Oxide’s on a 3 and a half minute track but on electron avenue he’s like 15 seconds slower. So inconsistent
@@Rytmimies you have to play with the ghost before you start the match make sure to choose the ghost and play with him, if you get 1 start after the game it means you won
i'm sorry but if you can't even beat him on one of the simplest tracks in the game, you're just not that good. try learning how to powerslide consistently and learn the sacred fire technique. there are alot of guides on youtube that can help you with
Unlocked N Tropy and all the other stuff from fully completing adventure mode and it’s all gone now because the buggy online crashed on a loading screen and corrupted the global save file, utter garbage
@@ThaProd1gy It actually is the "shitty system," asshole. Beenox/Activision has acknowledged that there is a serious issue where the global save file becomes corrupted and deleted if the game crashes or you complete all 32 time trials.
Just beat all of his CTR track times just discover that Beenox had shoved 10 Wumpa fruits up my arse because you too need to beat his CNK track times. WHY? THE ORIGINAL NEVER HAD EXTRA TRACKS, WHY SHOULD YOU NEED TO BEAT THE NEW TRACKS TO UNLOCK HIM!?

It's like Uka Uka as well, he has the exact same voice actor from N. Sane trilogy but damn, he sounds way too different.

N.Tropy makes a lot of mistakes and often forgets shortcuts. For example on Blizzard Bluff he only does 1 of the 3 shortcuts.

Unlocked N Tropy and all the other stuff from fully completing adventure mode and it’s all gone now because the buggy online crashed on a loading screen and corrupted the global save file, utter garbage

It actually is the "shitty system," asshole. Beenox/Activision has acknowledged that there is a serious issue where the global save file becomes corrupted and deleted if the game crashes or you complete all 32 time trials.
Just beat all of his CTR track times just discover that Beenox had shoved 10 Wumpa fruits up my arse because you too need to beat his CNK track times. WHY? THE ORIGINAL NEVER HAD EXTRA TRACKS, WHY SHOULD YOU NEED TO BEAT THE NEW TRACKS TO UNLOCK HIM!?
