I just shared the video!! My favorite part was the Yellow Journalism, it was so cool you incorporated that into the video because it is such a significant (and often forgotten about) part of the Spanish American War. I would love an animated video about the suffragist movement, Susan B Anthony and Frederick Douglass, or the civil rights movement. Thanks again!

im a Jr. in high school and in my U.S history class these actually help during the semester, these videos are the main reason for me remembering half the things on the test

Actually USA didnot defeat spain only in sea cos spainsh ships where outdated on land there was no us victory lol the local guerrillas did more damage than us troops witch showed to be inferior on land compared to spanish troops making more damage to the us troops than spanish loses i see us history is diferent form the rest of the world lol

I’ve gotta ask how challenging it was for you to acquire your video creation and editing skills, and if you were teaching (full-time class-load in a regular brick-and mortar school) at the same time that you were navigating the stuff a person has to learn about video & audio.
The USS Maine very well could have blown up due to a ruptured boiler causing the munitions to explode
I literally am doing my A Levels and this has taught me more than my text books

USA quickly forgot that Spain helped them to get their independence. Cuba, puerto Rico and Philippines had even political representation in Madrid and were treated equally. USA lied a lot so as to steal new territories. All this should be remembered
The US forgot within a decade about France helping them. So forgetting Spain after a century isn't surprising.

The Spanish American war marked the before and after in information news and propaganda, up to these days there’s lies told about the war which will, hopefully, fade away, a very interesting part of both Spanish and American history which unfortunately many people miss

Buffalo Soldiers routinely took hills first. I love Teddy but his assessment of Buffalo Soldiers gets progressively worse in his own records.
