My hubby was diagnosed ten years ago. He is now 76 and is almost deaf .. communicating with out raising my voice is hard. He is constantly on the edge.
Oh my husband would tell me not to shout, but I'd say "you can't hear me", he was deaf to. We'd tried hearing aids but they'd end up down the loo or somewhere else and I'd spend hours looking or them.
Ann's beautiful mother Betsy passed away peacefully on January 1, 2023.
