Jennings has been salty about Spyda since 2017 because prior to Mitchell, Jennings was the Gold Standard as far as offensive output by a rookie was concerned.
His bitterness turned to malice once Mitchell followed up his much better rookie season with playoff success and superstardom.
Jennings rookie year ended with a first Round exit where he coulnd't match his season averages. His efficiency fell off a cliff costing the Bucks the series.
Mitchell on the other hand's efficiency and output increased, earning him a Shoe Deal and overwhelming veteran and fan respect across the league.
I'm certain Jennings assumed he'd fall apart in the playoffs just like he had years before.
