Xanthochroid is quickly becoming one of my favourite bands. It is awesome to hear a group that isn't just a shitty reproduction of the masters of metal. You guys make some seriously wicked and original music. I definitely have to make a trip down to the States to see you guys play. Love from Canada!!
Guys, this is awesome, but at the same time shows the only "problem" of the album; crappy orchestral sounds! When strings are going solo in high octaves, it is quite cringe-y. I will recommend EWQL' best stuff (even Hollywood Strings if you can afford) but the most important is the orchestra to be programmed correctly using CC messages and a lot of volume automation, listen to Thomas Bergensen's tracks. Looking forward to the second album!

Idk, I love the orchestrals, they make the songs for me. Although I could be biased since my favorite instruments are the violin and piano.
