I love that you show the time progression of the whole project. So many people just do one day projects that they might do an update on in a few months. This way you can see how they grew and weather the technique was successful. You two are great and I learn a lot.
Thank you. We try to give everyone the entire process on one video unless it is simply too long such as the corn Mini-Series we released last week. Even when we have to break it up in 2 or 3 parts we will release them within days of each other to help you. 👍
@@HollisNancysHomestead thanks I can't wait for this spring I really trying to build up my content and garden similar to yours
Have you ever tried topping your peppers? I tried it one year just as an experiment and it was such a success that I do it every year no. Once your young plant has 6 set of true leave cut the top growth off to 4 true leaves. Doing so forces the plant to Bush out instead of grow high (more branches = more support and more growth point for peppers) I do this with all pepper types. My yield has tripled even with bell peppers
I agree
Never heard of that. I'm going to try it. Thanks for the tip.
Thanks
It's true I been doing it for yrs
How often do you feed
I love watching your videos. The progression to harvest is great to see in 1 video. Keep them coming.
Thank you for watching! Glad our videos are helpful for you ❤️
Well, another pepper I have to try! I just love growing peppers. Last year was my best year ever for peppers. I sure want to expand the varieties of peppers in my little garden. Hey Hollis been missing you and Nancy. I'm sixty and I've been using black all my life right out of the feed lot. I just pile it up and let it mature for two years before I use it good stuff.
I have never heard of this type of pepper and wish I had seen this earlier. Our growing season is not too long here in Maine and I usually start my peppers early. I have put these on my seed list for next year. Thank you!

I've never heard of a sweet datil pepper until now, and I've been eating them since I was a kid. My mom's family is from Palm Valley, just a bit north of St. Augustine FL. I just discovered the HabaNada pepper, which is a sweet habanero. Peppers are fun and rewarding to grow.

I’ve started a gardening CZcams channel it’s called “Outside With Jeff” and I’d really appreciate if you would consider checking it out and if you like what you see please consider subscribing to the channel thank you so much for supporting a fellow gardener of 20+ years.
I used your method using the blood and bone meal and it was best results I have had. I hosted the first pepper eating contest in my town and you helped make it happen.
Originally from St. Augustine but now living several hours inland in the country I can tell you the Minocan's brought the Datil Pepper over although the Datil originated in China. The Oldest City has a Minocan Festival which features many products made with Datil's. Datils make an excellent Datil Mustard good on BBQ. Also a red sauce which is excellent in red beans and rice and many more dishes. The seed can now be found at Baker Creek Seed Company. If in St. Augustine in the Spring you can find small plants at any feed store and most local nurseries.
👍
I love the information. so we'll put .
Awesome peppers.

You and Nancy do make super videos full of information, always good choices of music
Thanks for teaching me
Definitely magnificent!!!
Beautiful peppers!😋
Very good video, thank you all for it
I can’t wait til next spring to start using all these wonderful tips and techniques you have shared on your channel. Being a newbie to gardening, I got a late start with planting my vegetables this year. My tomatoes did well, but most of the other things did not produce too well. After watching numerous videos from your channel, I know what I did wrong and have began a note book of lessons I have learned and the things I will be changing next year. So between now and then, I will be gathering my containers and making a few more grow tables for my back yard so that next year I will be ready to start my planting at the appropriate time. Thank you so much for sharing all your techniques with us. They have really helped me learn how to produce a better crop of veggies which will save us money and help us to eat healthier foods. I am so grateful I found your channel. I hope you both have a blessed day!
same here I cant wait to put some of these techniques in effect. and add to my content on CZcams
