Compost Fest III

Missouri Organic partnered with our friends at KC Farm School at Gibbs Road to celebrate Compost Fest on 5/11/24.
The day's activities included:
--Spring Plant Sale
--See a giant compost pile build in action
--Compost give away
--Feel the Heat compost bin demonstration
--Biochar demonstration
--Worm composting workshop
--Black soldier fly workshop
--Goats on the Go
--Informational booths
We continued the care and maintenance of the giant compost pile!
100 feet long
8 feet wide
6 feet high
Approximately 40 tons! The compost we create will be used on KC Farm School's gardens for years to come.
