I can remember every crisis in my life since I was a young child and thinking I'll never get over this. I always did though, sometimes only after years of pointless suffering. Bad things can and will happen to us in life, but no amount of thinking or questioning why ever changed a damn thing.

An apt metaphor, but I doubt even a 'neurotic' bird experiences the exquisite feeling of 'guilt'.

Absolutely, it's the human touch in the metaphor that brings it to life 🤗

Indeed, it can be challenging, especially in rough waters. Meditation isn't always stillness; it's also about finding presence in the midst of chaos. Start small, with moments of deep breathing and centering your thoughts, even in the storm. It's a journey. Stay tuned, theres more to follow...

I rarely ‘sit’ in meditation so to speak. No crossed legs, eyes closed etc. I meditate while washing the pots, ironing, cutting grass, crocheting or folding laundry etc. I’ve taught myself to do this to connect with my inner peace over the past few years and it really has helped hugely. Sometimes I still put music on to do these kind of regular tasks and have a large coffee first😬, but rarely as the peaceful meditation feels better. Meditation and getting in touch with your own consciousness can be in so many different every day forms I’ve found. Don’t let the word ‘meditate’ put you off or feel intimidating or unachievable.Hope this helps a fellow soul 💜💜🇬🇧
