It’s my firm favourite too! I love this film! Every Christmas I come back to watch it again! A true Christmas staple along with Elf and Home Alone 1 and 2.
I honestly love trains so much. And this movie combined three of my favorite things: Steam locomotives, Christmas, and huge orchestral scores like this 99/10
I went through a huge Thomas the Tank Engine phase when I was little. I always wanted to be a steam engine engineer. I lean towards electrical engineering nowadays, but even now I firmly believe that steam engines are by far the most beautiful machines humanity has ever devised.
I saw this back in 04 in theaters as a young child, I saw this last week on the big screen again and with my own child, I couldn’t hold back the tears. I was crying waterfalls and it’s mainly because of the score in this film. Silvestri really knows how to create magic with music for film.
This shows how great and kind Silvestri's heart must be... Just listen closely, you can simply FEEL the emotions emerging from the music. This is some of Silvestri's best work when it comes to really putting his heart to the music. God bless him
I watched Engame, I've watch PotC 3, I've watched Avatar, I've watched Shrek, I've watched The Lego Movie, I've watched all the good ones. But my love for trains still makes this movie #1.

This score is so criminally underrated. Some of Silvestri’s best. Great mix as always!

@Anya Marie Bautista! have you not heard of Avatar, directed by James Cameron, staring Sam Worthington as Jake Sully?
I terribly *_adore_* this freaking song... so much memories from my childhood...
Also 0 dislikes... who could hate this
Finally! The Polar Express song without Tom Hanks!
Looking back at the animation may have not been great but this film will always be in my heart because it was a big part of my childhood
Mine too.
What? The animation was great considering the year the movie was released. It still looks pretty good today.

Goosebumps and tears... I love this movie and its score so much. Thank you for sharing. :)
I noticed an error in the image. The locomotive's tender in backwards. Just a little thing I'd point out.
The huh?
The 'coal car'
If you cared enough to read other replies, you'd understand why i wrote it like that.
It’s a magic tender

The track at 12:52 is incorrectly labeled. From my experience, it is from the final two-thirds of the track "Seeing is Believing."

Why is the tender backwards?
👌
Love it
This movie’s soundtrack reminds me of The Nutcracker’s music
The only thing that I have a problem with is that they are missing "Do You Believe in Ghosts?" and "Approaching Flat Top Tunnel".
I don’t know if it was just me but I that I hear some music from Infinity War in the lost ticket part at the end
Sounds like starwars
