I could listen to David all day. God blessed him to live to his 90's from the hardship he went through in his earlier life. I'll remember this interview for the rest of my life.

Could he be any more adorable? I want to give him a hug. That kind of energetic spirit probably helped his survival.

This man Mr.Bayer is such an amazing storyteller. He has so much to say and so strong and courageous . I enjoyed listening to his testimony about this horrendous war and so glad he survived.

Tough as old boots. Very sad that he lost all of is family. The remaining uncle didn't seem so important. I pleased that he married and had children.

The Nazis were horrible monsters. They had no shame,no conscience and were so brutal.

I like what the Germans produce in their country ,they make excellent products, love their baked goods but I found upon meeting a lot of Germans that they are not very friendly and they still look upon other ethnicities as less than them. Very sad and tragic. They have learned behaviors from their ancestors.

I was born after WW2 and I am not Jewish. I would agree with your comments Elizabeth and find most of the older Germans I meet are unfriendly. I speak a little German but mostly they will not engage. However I feel that this is a generational issue, as I find young Germans quite friendly and willing to engage (and help me with my limited German!
