    Your headscarf and this video! 😍 I'll definitely be looking at the court cards in a few of my decks. You emphasizing behaviour helps.

    This was very helpful. I especially liked what you shared about the different way to see the Knight energy moving outward beyond the King. Thank you as always!!

      Yes, it's interesting. A touch confusing too hahaha but I guess each of us has to make their own associations and I just wanted to mention this, because it's there :) Also Crowley uses the Knight as the highest - most fiery expression. There's no Kings in his system...interesting. He writes about the court cards as stages in the creative/alchemical process...Pages being the earth/Malkut part. So much info! But as a simple way I really like the practical approach- what can I do? what am I encouraged to do by these guys and gals? :) Thank you for watching xx

    I love Jodorowsky's deck despite its controversy. And I like his mytho-poetic perspective but I've held back from buying his book for various reasons. It was helpful to hear excerpts from it. I do like Yoav Ben-Dov's book for its clarity and pith. This was a great video, Kasia. Love seeing the Dodal. Court cards are like that parental and sibling presence that you're never quite sure of lol. Sometimes they understand you and sometimes they don't and vice versa 😆 Love your little sum-up at the end; learn, do, nurture, master. Thanks for sharing. xo

      hahaha lol so true- family traits hahaha I love Jodorowsky's/Costa book! Esp the intro and some of the ideas he puts forth- I don't dig all of them but he always makes me think outside the box and try new things. Grateful to him forever for this inspiration. Thank you for watching Rose!

      Well, shuffled inside his philosophy there’s a lot of brilliance and art and progressive ideas, but there’s certain arrogance , and “matter of fact-ness” to his restoration deck and his book that puts me off. But I’m well aware that I’m a minority.

    Uhhh, z dworskimi to nieraz miewam problemy... :)) Przy okazji może wspomnę o pierwszych ręcznie robionych taliach, jakie udało mi się kupić - i jednocześnie mój pierwszy zakup w tarotbg (akurat trafiłam na przerwę wakacyjną właściciela sklepu, ale co tam ;) ) Wpadłam do nich w poszukiwaniu dużej talii Visconti Sforza, ale przypadkowo trafiłam na małe cudeńko (również Il Meneghello): La corte dei Tarocchi - i nie mogłam się oprzeć... no nie mogłam. ;)

    Kasia, uwielbiam Twoje lekcje i nauki, dzieki! I was wondering about the youthful appearance of the Kings of Swords and Wands versus the more aged Kings of Coins and Cups. Do you think that this could be interpreted in terms of time and effort needed to master the qualities of their respective suits? It takes considerable time to gather wealth and reach emotional maturity (coins and cups, respectively) so by the time we are somewhat accomplished in those areas, we are at the very least middle-aged. On the other hand, if we take swords and wands as representing wits/intellect and passion/enthusiasm -- these are qualities that tend to be inherent in one's personality, and more difficult -- if at all possible -- to develop through effort. You either have them or you don't. So, could the younger kings indicate that? I don't know... and I don't want to be controversial here, but I got intrigued by the age difference of those kings.

    • @tarotmap
      @tarotmap Před rokem

      Interesting points! Also to add to your arguments the wands and swords are seen as the quick suits. And coins and cups as slower...somehow that also fits the "age" .. Who knows :) I love to geek on these ideas though hahaha
