Really appreciate the video. Currently at Fort Gordon, GA as a 25B(I.T. Specialist), but re-classing to 92F. AIT is mos def were you were saying, everything from the formations, rules, curfew, and phase pass. Here we start out with Phase 4, basically you can goto the PX, and gym only. After being here for 3 weeks you can start phasing up to Phase 5, and start to wear civilian clothes, and go anywhere on post. Phase 5+ is where it gets its perks, with off-post access, and only accountability formation on the weekends only. Some dumb things that will get you in trouble if you decide so to RISK are, attempting to sneak alcohol, drugs, vapes(if there prohibited where you are), and food items. Thanksgiving week I will be leaving to Fort Lee to start my new AIT, and hopefully it goes by quickly!
Now at fort lee we have Red ,Black and Gold pass . People do the most on Gold and don’t get caught AND the student first isn’t always the most fit , the student first during my time couldn’t even do a single correct push up or couldn’t do 30 sit ups ... I had (and still have) a broken hip and I was able to out pt her . It was sad tbh

See when I went to Fort Lee airborne schools was backed up. So we went to the MOS Q barracks waiting to be shipped off. Weekends we could go anywhere but we had to be back for formation on Monday morning.

I was in Bravo company (92G) which was *DEFINTELY* strict as we were never allowed to do things like use the vending machines, not even in our graduating week (what was the point of even having the machines? I guess it was only for the sergeants). But I assume that probably all of Ft Lee Quartermaster, and maybe all of Army AIT now adays with the full on drill sergeants (not just platoon sergeants who put on hats, they are there, but I'm talking about full on sergeants who just came out of drill sergeant school) is stricter now (and Army AIT arguably is stricter than other branches. One example is that Army platoon guides are not allowed to march platoons whereas platoon guides of other branches can), even if it's not equally strict everywhere.
Coming from a recent grad in the 91 bravo school we could wear civis and go out on family pass but for delta co we didn’t need to have all of that info just a license from the driver btw u can’t drive our student first did this and he got busted down. But on the weekends it’s pretty chill after like week 3 and u get ur phase pass and never become a hold over never those guys are going no where but out of the army. Hold overs are pretty much blue falcons don’t befriend them at all they might be cool but just don’t. After that pay attention in the class and work on pt and don’t go crazy on the vending machine every Thursday and Friday our stuff was cleaned out.

I was a marine at fort lee for my mos school lol. we almost got into a couple fights with you guys. Also I was a little jealous of your guys pt because it was easy af compared to ours they made us run with logs and shit and we had to pt in the snow while you guys were inside your rooms.

He fails from the get go. you graduated basic, good job pat yourself on the back. AIT (if it's not OSUT...one station unit training) is at another installation. You are a basic graduate but still not MOS qualified...aka a somewhat more "relaxed" environment. You are there to learn...the knowledge afforded to you is on you to develop and understand. If you want cookies and ice cream work at DQ...this is the military. Unit you get to your first duty station you are a trainee...you should have figured that out before you signed or sought out guidance
