Great video Ash! Drakkar Noir transcends all tiers, as it is amazing, timeless, and ethereal. There never was, is, or will be anything like it. 👍
People might think he's trolling about Drakkar Noir but this list should convince the naysayers otherwise. You don't make an additional tier for just any ordinary fragrance.

As a man whose first fragrance was Drakkar Noir IN the '80s...I appreciate your respect to the OG.
Lol people will hate me for this but, I like how Club de nuit man smells. Also you’ll find it around 18$ ish most of the time. It’s a great fall/cold weather scent. Just thought I’d put that out there
I mix that one + a little Mancera Cedrat Boise especially on days that wildfire smoke is bad. It smells really nice!

It’s the only barbershop scent that doesn’t smell like pungent mule sweat too so I like it for that
@@austinherzog8465 Haha, yes, I'm not into old school 80s scents much at all, this is my exception to the rule, the freshness it brings surely influenced late 80s and 90s freshies and even the likes of ADG Profumo, BdC and Sauvage later on.
I saw mambo at b tier and couldn’t believe it but in the video you put on S it’s amazing super cheap smells great last long it’s my scent
I forgot about Gravity. When I was in high school, you either wore adidas, gravity or curve. But everyone had a bottle of coolwater for those special occasions 🤣
I got Drakkar and a few from this list. Give me Nautica Voyage, any day, every day.
3 am and st barts are s tier for me. stunning $20 pickups.
My parents would get me the super small bottles of gravity and aspen as Christmas gifts as a kid before they upgraded my game to Gio in 7th grade.
Gio was my first scent around 7th grade too from my mom. Still have a little bit left of that bottle.

Chrome by Azzaro belongs somewhere in here. It’s one of the best values out there in the clean scents category. A 6oz bottle is only like $40.
my dad actually got me a 200 ml of drakar noir for one of my birthdays and I can attest as a younger guy this one deserves the ss tier lol.
I just bought a little bottle of drakkar at a yard sale for 1$. It didn't have the sprayer. And mambo is always my go to.
I get pretty decent performance with 3am. I would've put in A tier.

Drakkar FTW!!! But I would switch Mambo and Bora Bora for me. Can't stand Mambo and I really enjoy Bora Bora. I also do agree that it shares some similarities with OG Curve, however, IMO, Bora Bora is better. Great list and thanks for throwing Gravity in there too! Another old school staple!

Holy buckets, someone mentioned Canoe. My grandfather gave me 2 4oz bottles. It is like Drakkar Noir for me. SS tier all the way, fueled by nuclear nostalgic bias. NO ONE talks about Canoe (somewhere between Old Spice and Brut with a heap more class). I may join the Patreon just for mentioning it. Well done.
Great video. Another great fragrance in this class is Zara's Rich, Warm, Addictive. Unbelievable fragrance for approximately $20. I learned about this one from you recently. Best $20 I've spent on fragrances...period. Well, actually, it's the only fragrance in the last 30 years I've spent this little. Great find thanks to you :).
I rocked Drakkar Noir from 18-22. I’m 30.
I added a bottle to my collection again, and man it smells great on my skin. I get unsolicited compliments, and my wife loves the dry down.
Too small on my phone. If you don’t pick leftmost I don’t know which bottle you are talking about. Like the concept though.

I don't buy the notion of fragrances that are "dated" when talking about anything from somewhere in the 1980s on. That was taken into account for Drakkar Noir, and to be fair, should have been taken into account for Gravity as well, in which case it would be an "A" at least.

I love drakkar noir... i have the cosmair version and its one of the greatest fragrences of all time and one of the best fougere ever created and one of the most successfull flanker of all time since the original drakkar was a flop ... only other fragrence on this list worth it is halston z14 i also like z 1-12.. cheers 🍻
Denim Original edt is great, less than £10 for 100ml here in England. Well worth a blind buy.

You should review L’Aventure Knight by AL Haramain. It’s also a green Irish tweed clone that I picked up because tres nuit was sold out. I’d just want to know your thoughts on how it compares to other clones and the real thing

Bora Bora Exotic on the other hand....is an A for me. Legit current Fahrenheit edt on the cheap. Gotta overspray, but at 2 feet out, it's the same.
I have CK one summer 20. A nice fresh citrus. W no silage and only lasts 2 hours so douse it on lol

I like to see Nautica Voyage, Guess Los Angeles 1981 and Cremo Spice & Black Vanilla on here.
I think a separate list for old school cheapies and a separate one for more modern cheapies would have worked great here. Then I think some of the fragrances people have mentioned might have made it into one of the lists.
Just a FYI, generally the tier above S tier is X tier, for fundamentally broken/OP/over the top/not pretending to be remotely fair. Point well taken though.

My eldest brother will have brother used to wear gravity my dad used to hate the way it smelled lol. The next half brother in line or Adidas moves.. which doesn't smell too bad. I wear pretty much anything I can get my hands on that I like whether be for a much older gentleman or a young buck :-).

I'll say this in Dior's defence, it's not 100% like for like by any stretch... But there are similarities for sure. I would say Elixir is noticeably better quality, and the dry down is much better. But you can pick up elements of it in Drakkar, and considering the price difference...👀
Personally, I still got myself a bottle of Elixir. But for those on a budget, you could do worse than Drakkar if you want something somewhat similar.
