Multiple personalities disorder is a condition that most abused victims suffered from.. It's more like a get away mechanism for them. I watched a documentary of a girl that was raped repeatedly by her stepfather that her personality split into 5 personalities.. The other 4 were very violent and ended up killing her stepfather which was something that the normal girl couldn't do.. She was diagnosed with the disorder and 8 years later she was better.
You mean heal from the trauma right there is no way you can heal from multiple personally disorders it’s not a disease you can take certain medication or therapy so u can suppress it but that about it you can’t truly heal or get over multiple personality disorder and there’s also movie called sybil when I was taking psychology in high school and college it’s the first movie was shown to us student 👩🎓
Just letting ya know the updated term is dissociative identity disorder to better represent what the disorder actually is. Leads people to think it can be grouped with a personality disorder like BPD instead of a dissociative disorder :0

@Sourabh B well she saw the video and blasted it back in her sister's face when she was already traumatised. She also didn't really react to her sister being bullied the first time she heard it.
Also did is a childhood trauma disorder that is developed before the age of 9. The previous name was multiple personality disorder but according to the DSM-5 it is developed in childhood it can manifest in teenagers some people don't even recognize that they have DID until they're in their late sixties.
I actually read a story, it was also about multiple personality disorder, it was a typical mafia brothers who get her custody book. But her personality made it unique, she had 3 personality, one who was as timid as Lisa and she never knew what her personality did after taking over her mind the timid personality even didn't knew she has other personalities and that's her original personality. The second one knew all her personality exist and was like Somi, she wanted revenge but also had presence of mind and knew to control anger and the third one was like Jenny but she was more extreme then Jenny and couldn't be controlled but it surfaced very less because The middle personality was enough sometimes to take revenge. But she did went for therapy because her brothers thought she was scared after her step father's death oblivious to her MPD and there the doctor diagnosed it but even at the last when the enemy is killed and her brothers thunk she is healed. She is not but instead her timid personality is the only one that has been replaced by the other 2. At the end when she bumps into teb doctor with her brothers the brothers are thanking the doctor and when they start going in different directions she turns around at the same time the doctor and she gives a sinister smile and the doctor laughs a little showing even he knows that.
Watch the movie and you'll see that all of the events are just her fantasy while she is dying at the first part of the movie.. it is the actual twist..
This story is great! The twist of Lisa actually having multiple personalities in order to not feel alone in her situation is where this story got very sad. I'm glad that at least there was a good ending for Lisa. Leaving school to solve her problem and stress then moving to a new city were great ideas.
Did you not watch the very ending? After it shows her walking in the airport then everything FREEZES, it cuts back to you hearing someone saying HELP ME which is most likely her and you see the camera slowing going through the woods until you see a shoe & you hear the cops saying the victim was found too late. Then you hear the guy say the victim was identified immediately. The victims name is.... Then you get the credits, so most likely the whole movie was about her imagining the whole thing in her head until she died.
@@E842002 That part was totally excluded from this video, so I didn't know. Thanks for telling me about the true ending. I looked it up and you seem to be correct. Darn! I thought this movie ended positively! Lisa's story is depressing now. Though technically it was not clarified that the entire movie after the beginning was just in Lisa's head, but I'm probably only being optimistic. The unfortunate truth seems to be that Lisa was left alone very weak at the beginning and died slowly because of poor conditions, which is why the movie was able to last so long after the beginning. That's so sad!
@@justjames4 Yeah I was hoping for a better outcome & even at the end, I was happy thinking that she got her life on track & then they hit you with the ending of seeing her shoe. It def hit me in the gut knowing that she didn't make it basically dying alone while her bullies probably will get away with it.
@@E842002 Indeed, I was very surprised to see that there was a second twist to this story. At least, whether movies are positive or negative, they are often made beautifully, like this one.
I've been bullied before. I got childhood traumatic experience too. It all adds up while I was ascending highschool. Till now that i was a graduating college student, it's all still fresh, HOWEVER, I learned that if you have to fight, fight them, but if u need to be silent, be silent. There are some principles you need to break or not, some circumstances u need to take actions, justifiable or not. But the only thing I regret most from being a victim of bully is, not fighting back. With a traumatic childhood, it gets worst. That alone is fatal for shaping ur tomorrow b'cuz u know it's a matter of time if you'll be drag down or swallowed up by ur demons.
There's a saying: you can let your past destroy you, or you can let it strengthen you. Don't give up dear, our struggles only make us stronger and better individuals!
It's alr if you didn't fight back when you were still dealing with the trauma in the moment. Just know as you get older, it'll all become less confusing/clearer for you. I used to be bullied in school too, now that I'm older, I can stand up and help others who need it, and frankly most time idc if the bully comes after me too, I decided to become the change I wanted to see in the world back then. But cheesy talk aside, don't give up, you got this!
@@cloudfish1829 yeah. I don't like to boast myself up but now, idc anymore if those bullies would come after me too after defending those they bullied. I mean, c'mmon I've seen worst and take worst hits, I survived. Now, I can still take more blows haha (just don't take others)

I was like Lisa previously, then I got bullied and transformed into Jenny as I grew older. Bullies are weak, if you snap back, they will run for their lives. I do not feel any remorse for Nayeon, instead I would have preferred if her minions were also treated like Nayeon. Am I advocating bullying the bullies? Maybe. No one is born a monster, it is created. The corrupt system failed her. The system created this notion 'Either you crush someone back or get crushed'. Only limited people should have access to kindness and some people needs to taste their own medicine.
No offence but she actually dies at the end and nothing happned the main CAHRACTER was imagining stuff from the start. She dies at the end and she was still in the forest in the actual movie
It’s true. You don’t have to be psychotic but as long as you fight back people don’t pick on you. Doesn’t matter if you lose or get beat up in the moment, you just have to stand up for yourself because bullies want an easy target. If they know they will receive some damage in return they will leave you alone.

@@archishaghosh1619 Somi and Naeyon are regular Korean names that some kpop idols happen to have... It's like being excited that a character named Jennifer shares the same name as Jennifer Lawrence.
[Disclaimer: I do not have DID.] When I was younger, I used to think of myself as 2 separate people: the person I was (Emily), and the person I wanted to be (Danielle). The person I was (Emily) was very timid, bullied by the girls at my church (which was actually a cult my parents joined), and abused at home by my parents (and occasionally siblings). I saw myself as kind, but a coward. The person I wanted to be (Danielle) was bold, stood up to defend people, didn't hesitate to speak her mind, but was also fiercely compassionate. (I even called her by my middle name, because I saw Danielle as a separate person from myself.) A few years ago, I found my courage and escaped from the cult, my abusive family, and my abusive ex-husband who I had married at 19. When I made the choice to run away, I knew that if I did, once I did, I agreed to myself that there would be no going back, no matter what hardships I faced. This grit helped me to persevere and survive. Essentially, I left everything I knew and everyone I loved (who were bad for me), and started a new life for myself, working from the ground up -- leaving with no money, no job, no car, no home. Shortly after I ran, the realisation hit me: I had become Danielle. I also did a lot of soul-searching and self-discovery, to learn who I was and what I actually believe (still working on that part). I discovered I am queer, I identify as a nonbinary lesbian. Because of all the weirdness surrounding my gender (and partially because of my own trauma), I chose the name Cai (like Kai, but with a C). Ironically (maybe it's force of habit), I still have a lot of Emily's reserved nature and timidity even now, still polite and filtered. Yet I'm not worried because I know that when it comes down to it, if I am ever in trouble again, I am confident that Danielle's strength -- MY strength -- will kick back in so I can protect and keep myself safe. Even though I'm reserved on the surface, I have so much grit in my heart. Still waters run deep. (And you know what the funny thing is? I was the LAST person they ever thought would run away.) I had no hero to rescue me when I needed help, so I became my own hero and rescued myself. Become your own Danielle, because they/she/he will stay with you always.
Wow..I had a similar, yet slightly different story. I had a favorite doll named Marie with the same character (which I created) with Danielle when I was 7 yo. I transformed my self to be Marie very early though, so I never experienced being bullied at school. But I never bullied other people as well.

This is one of the few movies I actually want to watch fully. Great recap.
It's sad how society doesn't take bullying seriously enough, and just let it get so bad as to mentally destroy someone like this. All it really takes is for bystanders, not the bullies the bystanders, to band together and say no, but ppl are so selfish sometimes.
It’s funny how u think that’s all it takes. Doing that might work in the moment but it’s still gonna continue, they’ll just wait until no one’s around to help u. Most bullies aren’t scared of getting in trouble, they just want someone to feel the same pain they’re feeling
These short movie recaps is starting to become the life of me.

May I know which documentary it is?
@ Liueyen no need to get all wordy , just let people say it as it is. The worlds already becoming censored enough from the fear of offending sensitives.
@@NS-wj6kl No It's the correct term, It's not personalities. They're identities, It's complex. It's called DID, Not mpd thats an outdated term because what was known of the condition has changed due to research as well as more specialists within the field.
WOW - great recap!!!! Now I have to go find this kdrama and watch it.
I think the recaps that y’all do is really good keep up the good work
at first i was like "jenny is so cruel." but jenny has lived a hard life, she's a fighter and doesn't understand why others wouldn't defend themselves either.
I'm kinda agree with that.
I'm confused why people don't fight back (To me its stupid to let people treat you like crap and wait until they are bored, That not the answer, if you don't tell them to go off they will never stop). If anyone would do that to be, I would bite back. I don't give shit about how rich they are. They can be daughters of teacher, princibul, president even the god himself I would still fight back.
My dad teached me that (but still no tio violent, useless is self defidence)
Sorry for my garbige English
Jenny is Lisa...Lisa didn't have a twin
@@mikipatka5246 your English is good! and i agree too, my mum used to say to fight back with words until the minute they lay hands on you, oh yes, then, the fight is ON.
@@mikipatka5246 because some people have low self esteem. It’s stupid to act like everyone is a fighter.
@Sourabh B well she saw the video and blasted it back in her sister's face when she was already traumatised. She also didn't really react to her sister being bullied the first time she heard it.
“She developed a multiple personality disorder” As someone with a type of DID that had me almost in tears
How do you live with that? Is it hard at all?
@@miti342 It can be, but our system is pretty good at working together!
Also did is a childhood trauma disorder that is developed before the age of 9. The previous name was multiple personality disorder but according to the DSM-5 it is developed in childhood it can manifest in teenagers some people don't even recognize that they have DID until they're in their late sixties.
@@miti342 yes living with dissociative identity disorder is very difficult.
Sure
I cannot stop starting at all of them how beautiful they are. Like dolls
I’m glad that the movie lets Lisa regain her mental health and start a new life.

yup it's actually true, I was surprised when mystery recaps didn't included the true ending, I guess he didn't notice it?
@@y0l.yoola_KS damn yh it would have been helpful if he mentioned it but oh well
This story is great!

I'm sending you a warm virtual hug my friend 😟❤❤❤❤
Wow!! Well said. Great 👍🏾 message.

Am I advocating bullying the bullies?
Maybe. No one is born a monster, it is created. The corrupt system failed her. The system created this notion 'Either you crush someone back or get crushed'. Only limited people should have access to kindness and some people needs to taste their own medicine.

[Disclaimer: I do not have DID.]
When I was younger, I used to think of myself as 2 separate people: the person I was (Emily), and the person I wanted to be (Danielle).
(I even called her by my middle name, because I saw Danielle as a separate person from myself.)
A few years ago, I found my courage and escaped from the cult, my abusive family, and my abusive ex-husband who I had married at 19.
I was the LAST person they ever thought would run away.)
I had no hero to rescue me when I needed help, so I became my own hero and rescued myself.
Become your own Danielle, because they/she/he will stay with you always.
Girl you're so brave👏👏👏👏👏👏, I'm glad you were able to face your problems.😊😋
