These are the types of stories that truly represent the seriousness and the charm of the Railway Series franchise. Wish more people could’ve seen it this way. This was a marvelous adaptation, Lowca!
You know, I just realized something.
When the narrator says “Henry wasn’t sure, but he thought the voice was Gordon’s”, he may have been referring to Flying Scotsman as to who called out Henry, and of course, he thought it was Gordon because they’re brothers!
It's funny to think Henry's also related to flying Scotsman and Gordon and ryan

I get the sense this is done on purpose. Mostly just to reflect that these two engines are nearly identical. Gordon used to be green when he was first built, so this is a kind of harkening back to the old days.
Excellent adaptation; it hit every beat I was pondering about the story without me even asking. It feels synonymous too because four days ago from writing this, I had finished and sent off a finalised production outline for a proposed "Thomas & Friends" revamp. Why's Gordon green in this?
Either you're looking at Flying Scotsman or you saw a few scenes where the sun was shining a certain way on Gordon, turning him green momentarily. It's probably just the program not adjusting the colors correctly.
