I've never heard of green beans as the first foods. Always been advised to start with rice cereal mixed with bananas so it wouldn't upset their digestive system. I couldn't get mine to stand green beans until they were a year old. And even then, they didn’t like them much. Now that they are adults, it is the only vegetable that they really don’t like
That is because you gave them banannas too soon. Once they get something that is sweet and good, veggies are nasty to them. Plain rice cereal, then veggies, then banana and fruit. The best stuff is the veggies....
@@anthonyhuml4696 mine never liked green beans in their lives. But, they ate every other veggie . So, no, it s not because I started them with rice cereal with a little banana mixed in.
@mawest4775 In almost all cases, the banana wouldn't have help. Weird thing is pediatricians are now saying don't feed the cereals at all because they have no nutritive value. They are basically starch.
@@riceflowershea8748 maybe, but they are not on cereal long enough to make a huge difference. It just gets them started. As soon as a tooth came in, they started finger foods. Did not start as early as a lot of the parents here. Waited until they could sit up by themselves and keep from falling over.

He had never had anything else, so obviously he’s going to have a reaction to anything that doesn’t taste like milk. You don’t just immediately stop giving it to him because he doesn’t love it the first time. You’d create a very picky eater by doing that. He wasn’t crying, gagging, or anything like that, so you’re just being dramatic about it, as usual.
