- While visiting New Zealand, I decided to surprise my 13-year-old nephew with a #PS5! But first, I trolled him by just giving him a PS5 controller. He took it politely đ Then he got his real surprise! He hasn't stopped playing the #Playstation 5 since I gifted it to him!
I feel ashamed that I had to get him a PS5. I thought he would follow both his Uncles and become an #Xbox fanboy. But something happened during his upbringing. Now there's nothing we can do but taunt him about how good Xbox Game Pass is. Be careful how you raise your children; they may become PS fanboys, or worse, PC Master Race.
Teenagers must be trolled at all times in my book.

I remember when my parents did this for me one Christmas with Black ops 4 for the PS4 when I had a PS3. I tried REALLY hard to be appreciative and I thanked them for the gift regardless. There were no other Christmas presents with my name on them after that and I just sat there recording them opening up their gifts. The last gift had my mom's name on it and she told me to open it up. I was confused, but when I did it was a PS4. I felt joy and betrayal at the same timeđđđ

Flashback to when my mom gave my brother an iPod charger. He really did try his absolute hardest to pretend he had a use for it saying he'd use it with his Xbox. Nope. That's when the iPod box was slid right under his feet and oh my god I can still feel his happiness from that day.

@@dr.dickerson nope xbox controller is easier to use on windows. You can use ps controller but it have multiple steps to do it which sucks. With xbox just plug and play
This honestly kinda reminded me when my uncle gifted me a ps2 along with a second controller. He had asked me if there was something I'd like as a gift and i jokingly said a playstation 2, cuz i knew they werent gonna get it and i honestly thought it would discourage him from buying me anything. On the last day of out stay at his place, mom tells me to go to the living room and he just plops a bag with a ps2 and controller onto the couch, he even gifted me his first jak and daxter game, and he had the trilogy. I miss those strange days of not really knowing youre gonna get something.

My parents did this on Christmas only they hid them both my dad told me there was something behind the sofa and it was a controller then later on I was asked to get something from another room and bam ps5 sitting infront of me such a fun way to end up with one

You could use the PS5 controller through Remote Play on PS4 I'm pretty sure. But yea it's overall not very useful by itself. Best controller ever made though IMO. The adaptive triggers in Call of Duty are so freaking fun and I love the ergonomics of it. Feels super high quality whereas the XBOX controller still feels like cheap plastic

Last Christmas I was given a ps5 controller as a gift and was how everyone is and was thankful for my parents even thought I couldnât use it with my then ps4 but the next day after Christmas they brought the actual PS5 out and I was genuinely surprised!! So thankful for them and how they managed to get one for me!
