I highly recommend an ultra wide monitor! The res and quality depends on your use case. Coming from a dual monitor setup at work and buying an ultra wide for use at home was a game changer.

Love your videos! My favorite desk accessory is the PopMount 2 it allows me to mount my phone on the desk using the popsocket on the back and is very adjustable. This allows me to make use of my Logitech MXKeys and never have to move the phone.

I've got a 49" ultrawide and I love it. I still have one extra screen (you could use your laptop for that). Not much is designed to really take advantage of it bit it's still super cool.

Cool video! One tip regarding your love for actually writing down things would be something like a correctbook. Gives you the freedom to do write things down, but you can wipe off anything you write down so you can re-use your notebook to limit your impact on the environment. Got mine recently and love how it works! :)

I'm currently in the process of recording my first desk setup video, because this is actually the first time I feel my setup is cool enough to make a video about (even though this are just the first steps to the "final" vision I had in mind).

I recently built my desk too and was actually looking at Grovesmade, I opted for IKEA though haha - my next upgrade would probably be the wool mat or the pull out section! So cool. TaoTronics TT-DL16 Stylish Metal LED Desk Lamp is my favoite desk accessories, its so flexible as a desk lamp and mood light.
Since you were on the lookout for an ultrawide and here's my recommendation for a monitor and a tech for desk setup under 300: The LG 32inch QHD 1440p IPS display. Great display, and since I personally use a 32 inch I think its the sweet spot between a 27 inch and a 34 inch or a super ultrawide for scaling and design. Hope it helps!

I am currently on the hunt for a mechanical keyboard, as an external keyboard for my laptop as proved to be an essential. The one I currently have is a second hand Apple keyboard, but I am thinking of upgrading to the Keychron K6, which is under $100. Really love the desk setup also!

Love the aesthetics in your setup, looks great. My favorite item on my desk under $300 is my Shure MV-7 microphone. Great sound signature, flexible and allows for future upgradeability if I choose to add an audio interface in the future.
