Most maggot tubs have holes in the lid which does the exact same thing
I use netted 30p vegetable carry bags from the supermarket to do my pellets.
I think the solution is called a Preston Pellet Wetter.......

Do the lids come off? Otherwise I can see them getting in the way when on the side tray, especially if you have 3 or 4
Zip Eva tubs don’t stop maggots getting out where the zips come together 😢
