This piece was performed live on the Digitakt and recorded directly onto the Yamaha MT120 4 track via Eventide's Blackhole for a bit of reverb. No sequencer was used for this, instead it is just playing unsynced tape loops of different lengths. All the sound sources for this piece are from Spitfire Audio LABS Obsolete Machine except the piano which is from Spitfire’s Stratus.

Never actually got my Mt120 to work. Replaced the belts and it still stops and starts on its own free will...taking a different direction and using multiple tape decks to create collages into a daw. Love this music you recorded 😃

Fingers crossed for you! I used to use a Tascam 414 back in the day but prices for them are pretty crazy now! Picked up the Yamaha as an alternative and definitely don’t have any complaints with it!
