We’ve seen tons of raunchy, R-rated coming-of-age comedies like Superbad, American Pie and more recently Blockers (just to name a few), but now it’s time to prepare yourself for a super vulgar kid comedy South Park-style because Gene Stupnitsky’s directorial debut is all about a group of sixth graders who aren’t even old enough to see their own movie, Good Boys.
Jacob Tremblay, Brady Noon and Keith L. Williams lead as Max, Thor and Lucas, respectively. After getting an invitation to his very first kissing party, Max panics because he has no clue how to kiss. In an effort to figure it out, Thor and Lucas help him steal his father’s drone and use it to spy on the couple making out next door. It might have seemed like a good plan at the start, but when the boys destroy the drone, they find themselves jumping into one crazy situation after the next trying to replace it.
With Good Boys making its big debut at SXSW 2019, Tremblay, Noon, Williams, Stupnitsky and writer Lee Eisenberg took the time to swing by the Collider Studio to talk about the film and play a round of "Random Questions." Find out what big screen characters the cast turned to to develop their own, what they collect, their favorite movies to quote and so much more in this video interview. Good Boys hits theaters nationwide on August 16th.

When I was in 6th and 7th grade(now going to 8th) nothing was confusing or new cause nothing happend and I feel like im the only one that didnt really experience anything and I hear a lot of other people tell stories about all the crazy, cool,weird and embarrassing experiences and I'm like cool and they would ask me if I had any stories and I would sit there in awkward silence 🤣🤣
They should make a sequel called Good Boys...and girls where there’s a girl that joins the bean-bag boys who teaches them everything that they are wrong about, how to get a girl, what certain things are and basically just gets them through middle school without being weird (and hopefully teaches them what a tampon is)

I first saw the trailer for this movie when I went to go see Once Upon A Hollywood, I believe and I just kept laughing my ass off and then I went to go see another movie, witch I forget now and saw the trailer again, I laughed my ass off again. I decided that I didn't want to see this movie cause it was basically about 6th grade boys trying to grow up to fast and wanting to experience stuff that older boys do. Then one day I decided to take myself out to a free movie on my Scene points. I landed on the decision to see Good Boys. Just it was the only good thing that was playing. I laughed and cringed a bit. I enjoyed the movie. When the movie was done I decided to look more into the movie, like the cast. Max, who was played by Jacob Tremblay is a Canadian actor from Vancouver, and plays in Wonder, My Mother's Future Husband, The Room, The Predator, and he was at TIFF last year for his movie The Death & Life Of John F Donovan. Just to name a few movies.
