i literally bought the game from that chinese website... uploaded the geofront patch,,,, but im gonna wait a year and play it with its english voice acting glory.... although it sounds pretty pog when you do the group attack with the Japanese voice acting

HOW THE FUCK IS THIS THE NORMAL BATTLE MUSIC? THIS SOUNDS BETTER THAN FINAL BOSS THEMES. ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE.

As someone who's playing the games in order, hearing this as the battle theme in the Divertissement chapter made me grin like a madman.
Legend of heroes never thinks 'basic battle means basic theme'. nope they think 'basic battle, go in HARD!!!'

This is just a normal battle theme. I believe this is a boss tier theme and I love it.
This song takes on a whole new meaning now that NIS is bringing Crossbell over with Geofront's help. We got there people!

Finished ToCS 2 the other day, wanted to know who lloyd and rixia were, so im gonna try zero, and was looking over the OST, and listening to this i was like 'hold up, this is the tune that plays in ToCS 2 in the bonus chapter as well'

It's my first time playing the trails series and holy moly when I first heard this, I knew I'd be playing one hell of a game.
Now we can play this awesome game in english, now thats fucking amazing! Legend of Heroes is one of the best series of jrpg ever made.

Heard this in that extra chapter in Trails 2 a couple months ago and was always curious about it, fast foward to a couple weeks ago and after finishing Trails 4 I played Zero for the first time. This is hands down my favorite battle theme.

This theme gets remixed so many times by the end of Azure that this version now feels far too powerful for a mob battle theme lmao

So, now that I FINALLY got to play the Crossbell arc through the officially English-localized version, I can give my opinion on this game's OST! As for this "normal battle" theme, it was actually quite *catchy* and fun to listen to (especially the 2nd half of it) and I think that is VERY important for a battle theme that you will probably *hear the most* throughout the entire game (and that helps immensely when *grinding* for levels/mira as well)! Good theme overall! :D

i always knew how much i loved trails from zero and trails to azure. they're two of my favorite games ever and they always will be. but after lloyd and rixia say their final words in cold steel 2 i wanted nothing more than for the story to continue following them. like i just felt so detached from the remainder of the game upon being reminded just how much better the crossbell arc is in every way especially its main character. and i loved cold steel 2 every step of the way up until this point. it was just a very painful reminder i guess. but i will always be so thankful to that little episode for bringing back my two favorite characters in the series and the best battle theme ever made :')

I'm not really a fan of jrpgs but this might be an exception just because of the soundtrack
Crossbell and Cold Steel have incredibly good music, when i first started trails in the sky (just the first) i didn't like ANY of the fight tracks, except for the colosseum one, if you're gonna have a JRPG the battle music has to be on a different level, because you're gonna be listening to that for a huge fraction of the game.

@@Walamonga1313 Sophisticated fight is the one that never grew on me, it fits the pace of the first game quite well but i guess it's a matter of taste, it always reminded me of something that can be heard in a option screen menu. Silver Will is good, way too good and it fits so well whenever it was played (kinda forgot it existed as i played all translated Trail games in quick succession, sorry)

I was sad that Crossbell have better battle theme than CSII itself. Heated mind is good but this song is something. It vibes everytime they play this.
The beginning is the perfect way to start a battle. I only wish the turn quotes were more diverse and varied.

Inevitable Struggle and Unfathomed Force are like those of Crossbell.

I just finished Trails in the sky SC yesterday. My friend who is Kiseki series'fan recommended me to skip the3rd and go for Zero! Now I found it so great with Character design and OST. Thank you Falcom.
I def would not recommend skiping the third. aside from the combat being the most fun the sky trilogy has to offer, it also comtains alot of side stories that are important to understanding future games i.e. Rennes backstory which greatly enhances certain events in zero. I 100% recommend playing thay before moving on to crossbell/cold steel

I'm noticing tons of patterns in all of the Kiseki sagas. Some of them I find hilarious, like that there's always one technologically genius kid with a prototype Orbal staff that uses ATS instead of STR. ;D

My favorite is the sneaky guys who you last expect to be antagonists... And Ouroboros is behind like 80% of what happens in the sagas.
