Yeah, the stand alone ones I'm just used vs amp locker the old one I liked. I was using my presets
I got the email about the AHM but I haven't actually used it yet.

This is great and brings back fond memories. Just like in the good old days, about ten months ago, we are going to consolidate the Audio Assault goodies into one place for convenience. They have some really cool stuff, a lot of which we've seen here in the past. It's wise to get on their newsletter as they have rock bottom deals and drop a sim to $0 temporarily on occasion. Since I've seen you comment on their FB post, I knew this video couldn't wait very long. XD I hope we will get the double track function like in the standalones. And this is the first time I hear a chorus sim that actually sounds good and not like a drunken out of tune effect. Even Amplitube, which I really like, doesn't have a very good chorus pedal. This is going to be great! Not to forget, the guys at AA are extremely close to their customers on socials, and they won't hesitate to implement suggestions and feedback in the developement of the software. We truly feel like beta testers and part of a community, while other bigger brands that I won't name would simply treat us like mere customers.

Yes exactly.... I never understood what it was, but you explained it perfectly.... It's that exact thing even with a gate on in other Sims that takes away from how organic it sounds and feels/responds.
I've got this and fiddled around with this for two days after seeing your video. I must say, I'm in love with this release. I never thought that a Marshall plexi can sound good for modern metal until I gave it a try. This is my new favorite thing and I definitely will be using this everywhere.
I love the rough sizzling Rectifier sound here as well but I really dig the smoother plexi sound more. Thanks for making this awesome video ❤❤❤❤
AA are the best, I play their amps and can’t stop. Can’t say the same about other brands. Audio Assault are unbeatable!

The way 414 mic sounds is RIDICULOUS, so damn fat and full. Blend it with 421 or 57 and it's earthshattering. Love the hell out of this cab section. Also it's worth mentioning that the pedal and FX sections will probably get expanded in the future, on top of all audio assaults ampsims being added. I'm pretty sure this plugin will become the only ampsim I use

Man, when you engaged a chorus and start to noodling, I thought - hm, this coul turn a pretty sick "ZakkWylde'ish" tone for sure! And you start to play that badass No More Tears riff! =) Sounds fantastic! =)

Update: After two updates, it doesn't sound like it used to before. the low end sounds sloppier now. The amp has a weird distortion now. can't use it for drop E metal sounds anymore. RIP
Gotta admit I kept all the old plugins because amp locker just isn't doing it for me either.
Prestige has that hot rodded Plexi vibe for sure.

That's the thing dude. This keeps changing. The cab section on the update has changed a lot. Cabs have gone or changed.. Not sure what's going on with AA these days.

I have a Scarlett Solo..
I have signal registering on the laptop..seen in the options/settings window on upper left of screen.
But..
NO SOUND COMING OUT of Solo..have headphones for monitoring..
Any suggeztions?
Really enjoying this amp for Zakk Wylde style riffing, but something about their pedals is just completely different to all my other pedals. I tried a few SD1 style pedals in front of this at lower gain and the internal one is just farting compared to all my other VSTs
I thought they nailed all those man. I'll keep playing around.
@@resington Yeah give it a try with the amp gain set low and the pedal drive high. It's weird :D
YES! I been saying the pedals are meh. The bugs are driving me nuts it's in beta so I understand. The new ir section stinks ,I heard the old one is coming back .

That wah pedal is a nice addition but since its not an auto-wah how the hell are you supposed to use it while playing/recording guitar?😀 Or did i miss something?

@@M.S-Music ah. Well if you’re not willing to spend any money, there are some free autowah plugins - Superfly have a good sounding one. Or you could just use a real wah if you have one. It’s still a great free amp sim, even without an autowah.
I noticed in the beginning you turned on your guitar, do you have some on/off switch instead of volume knob? I`m thinking to replace the knob as I always use it on maximum only
Les Paul style guitar. Separated volumes for neck n bridge.
My big issue with Audio Assault is that they don't provide support for older stuff, e.g. tuner in Sigma Ex is still broken and in general M1 compatibilty is very poor.
Their plugins are cheap, yeah, but NAM is free and sounds better, so...
They do have a lot of discontinued stuff and problems with existing stuff true. NAM yeah man I made a video saying it's ruining everything lol
Some day they will migrate all the amp sim from reamp on this suite 🤘🤘🤘🤘
I find AA amps really noisy
I do really like that Prestige amp, it gets gnarly dimed out with post eq and the hyperdrive cranked. Prestige Worldwide though, that is hilarious lol! That's a reference to the movie Step Brothers I'm pretty sure, that made me laugh. I do not like the updated Hellbeast or AHM5050 in Amp Locker though, I'm honestly a bit grumpy about that. I guess they're just trying to keep up with the market or whatever with this, but it's not as good as what they had and I'm not a fan at all. I don't want more cheap all inclusive amplitube clones, I want more simple great sounding plugins that I can actually use. Like what they did with Hellbeast V2 and AHM5050 V3. I'm just not interested in Amp Locker or anything like it. Do you prefer the Hellbeast V2 or the Hellbeast Amp Locker version resington?
Totally agree with AHM. One of their best releases. I'm keeping the old versions. The new Hellbeast is a bit better if say yeah.
Agree; AHM5050 V2 seems better to me. Might be different when they update Amp Locker from beta.
@@resington I'm keeping the old versions too for sure, I would say the new Hellbeast is a bit more friendly to work with. The old one can be very squealy and unruly, but that's part of why I like it better.
@@iduncanw I didn't even know Amp Locker was still in Beta. I just got an email there was an update for the amps I bought, and the download link gave me Amp Locker. No mention of a beta at all, and I can't download the old versions anymore apparently. Luckily, I didn't delete the original ZIP's.
@@ShreddyMcShredsalot I only found out after reporting some bugs and providing some feedback. I've got AHM V2 installed and the email about the upgrade was a bit confusing.
