How to add DATE partition to Fact table?

So with PowerBI, the transform data option does not work. This means that all my ETL will be done using Visual Studio. Even if I want remove a character "-" from data column or check the data type of the column?
But PowerBI, "Transform Data" option is more simple, right?

Just confirmed this. With import, we can work as normal but with live connection ETL cannot be done in Power BI
