i love love love love S12s! Love Stacys collection! Curious to see how they progress!
shh! they're still a hidden gem lol
Unless you have the 1984 Nissan S12 coupe like I do, that was the only year Nissan put a fixed axle rear end in the 200sx. The rear end in mine is a H190 with the H standing for Hitachi. That rear ended is also the strongest fixed axle rear end that Hitachi-has ever made and came with a 370 gear. The rear end can allegedly hold 300 hp & 300 tq without modification. It should hold up to the power of a stock Chevy 5.3. I guess I’ll find out soon.
Awesome! That's some really good info!!
S12 FTW!
I love s12’s and really want one one day
You could run stock LCA with the s13 joint to mount the knuckle. Cleaner setup and cheaper.
I believe that's what he used to run, but he needed longer control arms for more clearance.
And you get the ability to adjust caster with the aftermarket tension rods
I have the same car as the last one, but with a factory power sunroof, and digital dash
I have a 1985 with a 350 chevy. I bought it like that but am putting my lq9 in there
Are the s12 wheel hubs universal for any wheel? Dont wanna get the wrong size quick release for my s12 im hoping its universal but i dont wanna guess since its an older car
I believe an S13 hub will work for an S12
Does Stacey have any left over interior parts from the white coupe? I’m in SC and need a few parts
Not that I'm aware of. He has a street car as well, he's swapped some of the stuff from the white coupe into it and I believe he is going to retain as much interior in the white coupe as possible.
@@DoctoredGarage I saw where the hvac ports were blocked off so I’m hoping he’s got a blower box available. I really need one so I can put my interior back together. Sent him a message on IG so I’ve got my fingers crossed. All the other ones I’ve found are across the country
I’m looking to buying a Nissan s12 but idk if it’s real easy to get parts for it in case something happens.
Is this car an easy car to maintain and daily drive?
I originally wanted to get my hands on a Toyota sprinter Trueno ae86 but I doubt I’ll ever get one 😔
There isn't a whole lot of aftermarket support for these cars, so parts are pretty scarce. I dunno how easy of a car it is to maintain for daily use, I don't think many people daily them ha
@@DoctoredGarage Damn that sucks to hear.
I really want an 80s - 90s jdm sport car for daily use and I’ve been looking for over a year but idk what to buy without worrying about the car being hard to maintain or it being too dangerous for me to drive lol 😅😅
The ones that have service parts readily available have hit collector car status so they're expensive now. I never would've thought AE86s and 240s would be $20k+ cars, but there have been a bunch that sold for that much. It's an interesting time!

It sure is man.
Thanks for the reply!
Myrtle beach, SC?!
Yup!
Im in Greenville, SC. Glad to know now there’s grassroots things in the area!
Awesome! The events are at Rockingham Speedway in Rockingham NC :)
Did you do an auto to manual trans swap on your s12?
All of Stacey's S12s came factory manual, surprisingly.
