Rustler 4x4 has heavy duty shocks probably the hoss also. Caps aren't a problem. But u r right GTR FTW

Gotta love a good 2wd, simpler setup but can be just as fun. The shock cap lol, same thing happened when i first got my rustler vxl. Tried to fix by replacing with alu caps but ultimately upgraded shocks to gtr
1st upgrade on my Slash VXL was the shocks. The stock ones are total garbage.
I'm a beginner I thought my hosim 9125 was fast with 3s but that you got is nice
I have a Stampede 4x4 vxl and my son a 2wd brushed stampede but for some reason I really wanna get a 2wd vxl for myself. Seems a overpowered 2wd mt would be a blast to drive.
It really is. I bought one back in 2015 and with every broken part, I upgraded to a new part, such as RPM products or aluminum. I still have the stock shocks with aluminum caps and a plastic black frame, only things left to upgrade. With that said, I would recommend purchasing one used to save yourself some money.
I love my 4x4 Stampede, I'm running a 4s system on mod 1 gears, in mine with tekno M6 axles. Thing is a beast.
Hi JayTee. Sold my Skully a couple years ago. Regret that. Bought the 4wd kit version when it was released a few years ago. Really like it, so that one I'll keep. Put a Hobbywing short course system with a 3200 kv motor in it. On 3s that thing rips! Enjoy your trucks

Love the 4x4, have had both Stampedes. Need to replace the shocks on the 4x4 and get the 9080 kit if you run 3s or you just break driveshafts like crazy, especially with better tires like the Sledgehammers. Mine is almost a HOSS, just need to replace the body and the chassis.
Just got another pede 4x4 not that long ago. Switched out the chassis for the hoss chassis dirt cheap, slash bumpers and a proline revo body😂 Kinda frankenstein but it takes a beating. Literally plug and play if you wanna switch the chassis out
Is Traxxas going to stop building the Stampede?
I think they are the 4x4 VXL, I think it's being replaced with the HOSS.
