Thanks for doing the range test. Your test model had 20” tyres in 13 degrees winter @ 120KM/h so 19” tyres in 20 to 27 degrees summer @ 100KM/h should easily get 400KM range. The usable battery on iX1 is 64.7kWh so your 21kWh/100KM should get you 308KM.

i'm enjoying mine after a month. the HUD option is wonderful. The speech recognition awful: long lag and doesn't work so well when coverage is bad. Giving it a few more weeks before I try going to offline only mode. Siri is a lot better.
i've been exploring using A Better Routeplanner on the phone for navigation, using an OBDII bluetooth dongle for it to get live data. ABRP is way better at planning long journeys, letting you work out where to stop, choose charging networks you like/dislike etc auto in car, the BMW one is great for its precision, responsiveness and information . It's a real shame you can't download ABRP drives to the car -the way I can do with my bike computer. And unlike all ICE X1s since march, the head unit won't be upgradable to Android Automotive when BMW switches to that next year.
Finally, because of the low battery voltage , DC charging is always below what the charging station promises. that makes no difference on everyday home-charge use, but I still feel a bit let down

Sat in one today msport and ix3 both looked and felt so comfortable and quality looks. Not much between them. Maybe if you havexa couple of kids slightly larger back rows but youd easily get away with 2+2 family in either. The looks inside both blew me away. Slight prefer the ix1 lookswise but ix3 for family practicality

there's almost no difference in interior size and it's way better than it's volvo competitors in terms of luggage and head/knee room in the back. a little frunk would have been nice. Compared to the iX3: DC battery charging is way worse because of the 300V battery, 4WD and lighter weight makes for a more nimble vehicle. The only bit of the iDrive controller I do miss is the easy zoom in/out on the map.
one more weakness of iX1: ordering has you back in the complexity of a world of optional extras -all of which have lower residual value when you sell on. Ix3. M sport is pretty complete automatically

What is 0-100 on efficient versus sport versus sport+boost?

Ohh good question, haven't measured in efficient. But it decently accelerates more smooth :)
