Thanks, I have been trying to play pc games but some did not work. Eventually I figured out it was all the games with easy anti cheat. This fixed it and helped a lot, thanks.

same here. It also has EOS in the file name. which it doesnt have in the video. maybe thats why
if you want to fix it, check and you'll see that there are two anticheat folders, one simply named easyanticheat, and the other one named EasyAntiCheatKamu or something like that, open that folder and you'll see that there is another EasyAntiCheat which hasn't the "EOS" name in the file, open that one and it should work!

I've tried verifying files on steam reinstalling the game and doing that exact same thing you just showed but i dont even get an error opening up dead by daylight. it just loads and then never opens. please help. I've even reinstalled steam nothing is working, it did this out of the blue

I can find my easy anti cheat folder no problem all the fix videos I've seen though are to bring up the file location find the folder open it find the folder and configure in there my issue is the easy anti cheat file wont even open or re download to my pc even after uninstalling and re installing the game ? anyone know how i fix that ?

Gonna try this for SAO 6... Just got the game and it refused to launch cause EAC hitched. They have an option to launch with it disabled, but multiplayer is also disabled.
any game w/ easy anti cheat will not launch for me no matter how hard I try to fix it. It will either tell me there was error 0xc000005 or the game will just load and then close out

Only just now ran into this problem though then I get too the EasyAntiCheatSetup part when I click on it, it appears for a split second before closing.

Hope you see this right now!! I haven’t found my issue, but to do this, remember what he said, everything is kinda connected with all easy anti cheat games, so look for files in programs x64/x86, and make sure the file isn’t (OES) or EOS) I believe, and if it as long looks like the file in the videos obviously, then you should be fine, though if anyone including yourself is mentioning this as if you did know that, than sorry that I couldn’t help you any further.

My Easy anti cheat has two folders now and one says Kamu at the end, that one will launch but the EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup exe wont open at all do you by chance know how to fix it. I have tried what feels like everything under the sun even creating a .bat that would open the file but still nothing. Anything possibly helpful would be much appreciated

Do you have a solution that makes it so I can play both New World and Lost Ark at the same time, which both uses EAC, which is the reason I can't?
You just have to do this method before trying to play each game. It’s possible to play both but sometimes they interfere with eachother
I'm speaking for a friend who plays on the windows store version, but they have been stuck with eac error 4 for over a month. Tried EVERYTHING! And nothing has worked, when they linked their xbox account to behaviour it then gave the eac error for steam, unlinked and it was fixed, why can they not play on windows? We have literally tried every single fix possible, behaviour themselves ignore our emails, and tell them it's an issue with their hardware, but it isn't because it happens on other pc's, we have tried uninstalling eac - reinstalling- updating - completely removing the file and then reinstalling - reinstalling the game - and more
I managed to fix it by going to game installation folder then easy anti cheat folder shift right click to command prompt and type "EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe install 471e8e6860b8419b8774726873527b1b" and launch the game.

Been doing this on a rinse and repeat basis whenever I run War Thunder, and what infuriates me is that it's a 50/50, either a okay, or it'll throw an error 2 then straight up BSOD (error: KERNEL_SECURITY_CHECK_FAILURE)
But for some reason running Enlisted and Apex which also uses EAC, this doesn't even happen (the errors still pop up from time to time but it doesn't result in a blood boiling BSOD afterwards)
Have you fixed it yet? Same thing has been happening to me and i'm completely lost. I've searched for a solution before, but it looks like that there isn't really one that will get rid of this problem.
@@IKatzen One temporary fix I discovered is by deleting the EAC folder in War Thunder's game folder, it works 75% of the time (it still has a chance to BSOD) but 75% ia better than 30% (I get more BSOD before this)
And don't worry, as long as you delete the EAC folder in War Thunder's game folder before you open WT's launcher, the launcher will reinstall it back

hi , every game that has easy anti-cheat dosen't work and it give me launch error 0xc0020015, I tried to go in the folder and use EasyAntiCheat_EOS_Setup.exe but every time it instantly close it self, even if I use administrator. I don't know what to do

@@simanole4457 I have made a mistake, every file .ddl were not read by the software that can read it but by the block note, if you have the same problem you need to change the way the computer open the .ddl files

For everyone who's having the same issue as me, try verify the integrity of the game files on steam and running "sfc /scannow" on command prompt.
Also, remember to open cmd as an administrator.
