This was certainly not what I expected! An afternoon with Joe, the Co-Owner of Glasscages, in Tennessee, was nothing like I had expected it would be. Donkeys, chickens, cattle, an emu and 11 well stocked ponds, and we were just getting started!
Yes, they custom build fish tanks of all sizes, sumps, glass tanks, acrylic tanks, reptile enclosures, but there's so much more going on. Come along with me on a road trip to master tank builders Glasscages where on 80 acres of Dickson, Tennessee forest there's a lot more going on than just the building beautiful custom made aquariums.

Ben already has a 90g tank from Glasscages and he mentioned he's about to do a 210g. I really hope he's getting from here. A smoked rear and bottom panel with smoked euro brace up top would look stunning.
That was unique content. Wish I could have such a nice aquarium manufacturing and fish breeding set-up amidst pristine nature. That would be a dream come true.

Wow, I had no idea Glasscages had all the ponds, coops, etc. I spoke with them via email some time back when I was looking for things I needed for my 150g. If and when I upgrade from my current 240g tank, it'll definitely be a Glasscages tank.
Adam C's current 300g is from Glasscages and it's absolutely stunning.

Very, very impressive! Low iron glass is the way to go atleast the front like you did. Mind you those tanks cost thousands of dollars that we were looking at!🤪🤯😎

What a great video of glasscages ! I had my tour with Todd the other co-owner also a great guy . Great job of editing and showing all the highlights of the property. I was lucky enough to tour on a work day and saw the floating /scoring/cutting table in action it was amazing as was the polishing of the edges . I’m loving my glass,low iron front 75 gal now housing my two prize angels and one pleco . When the cycling is finished I’ll be finding those tank mates . I so much enjoyed your very pro looking video picture and sound was awesome!! Careful your subscribers may want you on the road videoing “all things fish”. Thanks again for your content . It is amazing that the "glue" can hold that much force for so many years.
It is. You have the glue holding the glass panels together and the glue that seals helping to keep things in place along with the glue holding the bracing in place. Added up it’s a good amount of square inches of glue.
About 30 years ago I had an all glass tank /sump built on site by Seabray in the UK.... it was awesome seeing all the cut/polished panels coming in and at the end of the day my 9' reservoir under a 10' tank was in place... So many tubes of silicone and coffee... Always wanted to see around a manufacturing facility though.. Thanks for filming this one Ben 👍🏻

I miss my old Leb'nun emu friends, I used to have coffee with them every morning. Good to know this is in Dickson, if I ever get ambitious beyond my pair of angels! (I mostly have nanos, and probably enough of them, lol.) I could use a new betta barracks, though... 🤔
