    Just watched it, and I loved it, wow I did not predict that ending at all
    I was wondering Matt, does part of you wish this movie ended on the traditional thriller note, Mel Gibson taking down the bad guy, for me I would of liked to see a alternate ending to this where they actually do a serious ending like that and the continuity on the events that happend prior would still be good because nothing throughout the film says it has to end a specific way, all the characters show fear, the ending can go in either direction and just for fun it would of been awsome to see them film a serious ending
    Yeah the moment with the codes could have been cut out, that would be cool to see Kevin Dillion playing the Dillon character, yeah the score kicked into 3rd gear when the receptionist was supposedly dead in that scene
    Awsome review bud, I really did enjoy the film, I thought it was a nice welcome surprise

      I would have been fine either way, but I like how interesting this ending was.

    Mel Gibson is always underrated in everything he's in. My favorite actor and my pick for greatest actor of all time, from a sheer skill point of view.

    one of the recent films i seen (along with “The Whale” with Brandon Frazier and “Orphan: First Kill”) i feel the same way, at first i was very confused but i slowly began to appreciate the satire (if im using the term right) I could categorize this as a Suedo-Thriller.. but it’s one of those films that if you can accurately categorize this in a genre, you already gave away the ending…

    What up Matt. I am a huge fan of Mei Gibson Action movies. Unfortunately This movie is terrible. I enjoy The Edge Of Darkness.

      @ramboraph4life  Před rokem +2

      It's not terrible, though. I liked it A Lot More than Edge of Darkness. It has a surprising ending, a solid performance from Mel and is very competent for a direct to streaming film.

      To each their own. I really don't see what was 'sloppy' about the film. Mel did a great job acting showing a range of emotions. Any 'wonky plot points' are explained very well because of the ending (which made it unique and not like the last 20 years of bad Steven Seagal films). And it was fairly competently made.

      @@johnrambo1304 it's not sloppy

      Well I also enjoy The Game with Michael Douglas, 1986 film April Fool's Day or Basic with John Travolta which did this as well. It was more different and unique and not just the typical Bruce Willis/Seagal type of "Clock In/cheap action/ direct to video" stuff that has clouded the streaming services nowadays. And again, I still don't see how it is 'sloppy'. It was interestingly different, competently directed, and well acted by the lead who wasn't phoning it in but instead was completely selling the whole thing. The prank aspect works within his job as a 'shock jock radio host'. I just don't get the hate.

    3:37 I really enjoyed him in both"Get The Gringo"&"Edge of Darkness".
    7:57 😂😂
    12:28 Sorry bro but the ending sounds like a" lousy shot I don't like lousy shots they wasted Mel Gibson for nothing"
    12:42 True but that"certain 80's slasher film" was the acception to the rule also I'm not biggest fan of the"certain Michael Douglas film" lol.
    13:29 You have a very valid point there.
    16:36 I can totally understand what they are coming from there.
    19:31 Your 100% right.
    19:31 I think the name of that film is called"The Hot Seat?"
    Awesome job on the review bro not sure about this one bro?

    *SPOILERS DO NOT READ* I love Mel Gibson man. People judge him way too much. He’s just human like all of us. I loved the movie btw. I always look for movies like “The Game” with Michael Douglas.

    I don’t know why Mel Gibson is now doing a lot of direct to video and streaming movies now. He is a 2 time Oscar winner and now he’s doing these DTV movies now.

    If I can predict the twist then the twist is shite……everybody acted badly in this film including Mel……the script was horrible

    • @ramboraph4life
      @ramboraph4life  Před rokem

      Film wasn't that bad. Mel did not 'act badly'.

    • @carsondenny1986
      @carsondenny1986 Před 3 měsíci +1

      Yeah, Mel was terrific. And the ending was not predictable at all if you’re watching it. I actually think the movie was choreographing that Dylan, given that it was his first day, was in on the situation the whole time. That actually is sort of correct now that I think about it (although I was never thinking of it as a prank). But it’s not what I was envisioning while watching.
