    Was born and raised there. Now it's a sewer! The best coffee shop in town is "The Coffee Shoppe" on Mission and Precita

    Oh man, this is how I feel about London. I lived there for a year in 2007, went back in 2018 and 2019 (right before COVID), felt like I never left!

    The coffee shops looked cool :) I honestly prefer to work from home, even when I am working remotely. I just think I get to easily distracted elsewhere, and I generally try to book Airbnb's with good wifi.

      Bro do we get wifi there I mean do they have WiFi routers

  • @alwaysforevercurious8607

    I had the opposite experience. Around 1970 I was stationed in Germany for three years. I got off of the base every chance I could and also camped throughout Western Europe when taking leave. I came to feel quite comfortable in Germany. Then I came back to the states and was discharged. Culture shock really slammed me and I was not expecting culture shock coming back to the states. So, the opposite of what you described feeling can also happen. I have never felt totally at home here since that time.

    I have to agree with you. Every time I return to San Francisco...it feels like I'm right back at home. No other place like this. AND...your best coffee shops...are some of my top choices, as well. Great video!

    Miami Fl is home I've lived in several states but anytime I go back to Miami I feel like I've come home. Wish we had a Workshop Cafe. Looks like a great alternative for people who "work from home" like i do.

    Hi, I realise that this is a long overdue comment but anyway.... I had that same home-coming feeling when I returned to Brussels recently. I lived there for 5 months in 2016 while I was doing an internship. I didn't realise how homely it was until I left and went back a year and a half later :). Keep up the travelling!

    We have the exact same feeling you describe in this video every time we return for a few days to our hometown. Curious that you describe the exact same feeling we feel 😉
    We left Barcelona a couple of years ago and are currently living in London.
    We were actually in SF 3 months ago. Awsome city.

  • @ImprovRadiov

    Also, I have had that experience. My girlfriend and I went to China for six moths and when we returned it felt like we had never left. Everything was the same. We were expecting things to seem a little strange compared to where we had just come from, but it was just as if no time had passed.

    • @Theendlessadventure
      @Theendlessadventure  Před 7 lety

      That's interesting that you had the same vibe. I guess it can pretty much happen anywhere. Before we left SF we wondered if we were going to come back and it feel unfamiliar but it definitely doesn't!

    Not Really, because I was rising up in a town I feel like home, but every time we go to a country like Canada, France, Germany, and Poland it felt like home and we felt that we didn't want to come back to the States

    Just wanted to let you know that you guys hooked us (gf and me) to the whole Kambucha thing. We can't go to Whole Foods without getting a couple of bottles. I moved to Miami from Puerto Rico and I definitely feel what you describe when I go back home. Awesome vlog, one quick tip, before you start talking to the camera try to focus the camera on your hand before your face. That might help with the whole focusing thing. Heard it from another vlogger and passing it on to you. Cheers!

      @Theendlessadventure  Před 7 lety

      Nice! Yeah we're pretty much obsessed with Kombucha 😄 Yeah I actually had the AF settings out of whack most of the day. Believe me, I was quite annoyed about it in post 😡 But yeah I keep meaning to do the hand trick anyways but I always forget!

    What's so great about working in the same space with other people next to you? I would find that very distracting when it is imperative to focus on the task(s) at hand.
