One of my favourite all time Carnatic musicians...particularly love their Kharaharapriya (Raama nee samaanam evvaru)...wish they'd be more particular of their pronunciation though, its painful to hear 'Padinaalugu' pronounced time and again as 'Padunaalugu', spoils the experience:(
one more spell check and pronunciation Champion Telugu Lexicographers, One must remember the Carnatic Music has been preserved by Tamils. The tradition has been preserved not by nit Pickers but by people who have no knowledge of Language nor letters similar to Telugu by oral tradition when writing was scare, It is more difficult to save melody, Raga,and Bhava than written form
Padunaalugu is not wrong in any way. Padinaalugu was much of an older verson to Padunaalugu which was followed by Padnaalugu as we say it today.
Padunaalugu(పదునాలుగు) is a completely accepted way for 14. Please have a look at Shankaranarayana 1972 Dictionary.
