As an ex "cabincrew wannabe", I have been following so many crew Vlog. Mixed feeling of watching this, happy and sad at the same time. I used to have the dream of becoming a flight attendant until I gave up this dream and set foot in my current career. Always imagine if it was me, operating the flight. Having layovers, staying in the hotels and etc. though I always wonder why crew wanna leave this great job, I believe there is something better coming. All the best in ur future undertaking.

One thing I always forget to pack when going to hot, humid climates is warm comfy pyjamas. I don't even think of it because all I'm considering is the incredible heat I'm about to struggle through. However, here's the plot twist: the aircon is often so high in hotel suites and hard to make comfortable as windows don't open, the airflow is odd-- plus I'm from England so I like to be cosy and warm most of the year and my hands and feet get icy cold easily and quickly. I always recommend cosy pyjamas and a hooded zip up top or something like that no matter which season one travels abroad. I love seeing what other people pack, what they recommend, what they love.

Currently, working with three former SQ gals who worked over 13 and 27yrs respectively till their final goodbye with the carrier during the COVID era. Much of those interesting passenger dramas they shared were hilarious

Apologies for being blunt, just thought to give it a shot. I recently tried to book my first flight with SQ using points for business seats nonetheless. So a lot of points 😅. Unfortunately I’m on the waitlist, any tips on getting confirmed? Many thanks!
Thank you! And no tips, just have to wait 🥲 you can check the flight load using an app called seat alert, I think it’s 80-90% accurate. Maybe you can see if you want to give up based on that! Hope this helps!

Many Stewardess girls leave this profession very quick... is because of 3 main reasons. 1) Low - Medium salary 2) Toxic Culture hierarchy and 3) Irregular sleeping patterns. The 3rd reason is enough for anyone to call it quit.
0:50 hi...what notes do you actually take before your flight? And what are the "order taking" stickers for? Curious.
The names of the cabin crew and pilots in my flight, time of departure and arrival, information about destination, custom regulation, time zone of destination and other information related to the flight or destination. The stickers are for order taking in business class 😀
Sorry I have many questions...always fascinated how well coordinated cabin crew are onboard... I am a frequent flyer on SQ😊
Would you know which class you will be operating in before your flight or are you assigned during crew briefing?
And how do SQ crew seem to remember every passenger's name in F or J? Or do you only memorize the names of passengers in the zone you are serving in? 😅
Do SQ crew bid for positions onboard like many other airlines? Or do the more senior crew get to pick their positions first then the juniors are assigned by the IFM?
No worries about the questions 😂 work positions and classes are assigned by ifm, sometimes he/she allows a choice of work position starting from the most senior and that means the most junior of the rank has no choice. Each one of us have a piece of name list to refer to 😄 I’m not sure about others but I try to greet them by their names from the first time I see them, mentioning passenger names to other crew when communicating also helps me to remember. But again if I don’t remember, I refer to the name list before talking to any passenger.

No, that one you still need to wear your uniform because you're an operating crew :)
